Dr. Midkiff is an incredibly compassionate person who intently listens to any concerns and goes the extra mile to ensure you are getting the health care you need. Her staff has always been top notch. Dr. Midkiff's office staff is friendly and effecient and the office environment is calm and well organized. I'm very grateful to have been fortunate to have her as my OB/GYN during my pregnancy 19 years ago and all the years since. She's the BEST IN THE BUSINESS!!

(Hence, if I come for a visit, she cannot quickly scan any other previous procedures I have had in the past.) Additionally, I had a procedure she performed in her office. The site became infected despite anti-boitics and ointment. Her attitude was 'it will go away'. However, I had to find and go to an Emergency OB/GYN (because of severe pain of site) in order to have the infection viewed and resolved. Because of this other doctor, it cleared up in a matter of one week (or less). I rarely would see Dr. Midkiff because she had a terrific N.P. who I saw. This person was SHARP and seemed interested in my medical care. She is no longer with Dr. Midkiff. With Dr. Midkiff, I often felt I was invisible. Her office manner leaves a lot to be desired. I had been seeing her for many years. Finally, I couldn't take the no MyChart because of my age and overall failing health as a senior. Seniors need to have more consideration due to their medical histories. I now see another OB/GYN in the area which uses MyChart.

The office has a really nice and big waiting room. It's clean and neat. The staff is friendly, the nurses are also nice. On my first visit they gave me a goodie bag full of magazines, information, brochures, a pregnancy planner, etc. They also have a ultrasound machine in the office, so they don't send you off somewhere else for ultrasounds. Appointments are convenient and always in a timely manner. Wait time is never unbearable. He delivers at Anderson and he is in practice with two other doctors and a certified midwife.

When we arrived the waiting room was packed. I was somewhat worried that we would be there a while by the looks of the waiting room. Much to my surprise, we were taken back to the exam room about 10 minutes after our scheduled appointment. After taking my wife's vitals we were handed a cloth bag full of pregnancy books and other pregnancy related information. When meeting with the doctor he was really laid back. He joked with me about my wife complaining all the time. Every person we interacted with was very friendly. They took the time to explain what was happening and to answer all of our questions. I know I am very happy with this office and my wife is too.

Recently, I had a doctor here take on my difficult case and he has been the first person here to listen to me and my problems. Dr. Beer discovered I had endometriosis when no other doctor would do the surgery. Now he has helped me find specialists to continue figuring out how to better control my symptoms. You can have you iffy days and experiences here, but if you don't have many options...I suggest giving this place a try!

They billed me 25$ for an office visit instead of a repeat pap from a previous well woman visit with no copay. They didn't get enough cells the first time, so I had to come back and get another pap. It's impossible to talk to someone about these errors, as you are passed along in a never ending circle of confusion. And they charge 25$ for a no show, even if you call, no excuses acceptable, even if you've never missed other appointments. If I'm waiting beyond my appointment time, they don't pay me 25$. This is a distasteful way of doing business: my time doesn't matter, only theirs? When I gave them a bad review on google they responded I wasn't in their records. So they're unethical too, as in lying about whether or not you are/were a patient. Hard to believe.

I was visibly shaking when I got there, so much so that when I got on the scale, the scale was rattling. The nurses and staff were so kind to me and reassured me of everything. I was so touched by their kindness! Dr. Hulsen himself is kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took the time to get to know me before I even had to do any exams. He talked about my past experience, all the things that were bothering me, and any and all apprehensions that I had. He's so sweet and has a great sense of humor. Not once did he talk down to me, and I never felt any humiliation during this experience. He really eased all of my troubles, and guess what? The exam didn't even hurt! I was so amazed and so grateful for his kind demeanor and bedside manner that I just about broke down into tears. If you're looking for a great gynecologist who will listen to you, respect you, and take care of you, Dr. Thomas M. Hulsen is THE ONE to go to! Don't even bother going across the river to St. Louis. In fact, you should come over here from St. Louis to see him! I was definitely impressed, and well... let's just say that 1.) I'm not afraid of seeing the gynecologist again, and 2.) When I became pregnant I didn't have an OB/GYN having recently relocated and he was highly recommended by multiple women. Great doctor!

In November, I was seeing her for the third time since August of this year, and see didn't even know I was on any medication!! Also, when talking to her about the medication I'm on for PCOS, she didn't know too much about how this medicine affected my hormones and acted as if what I was experiencing was not being caused by my medicine. After leaving and speaking to other woman who have PCOS and reading on PCOS support sites, what I was experiencing was very normal....she was leading me to believe all of this was abnormal! Dr. Gingrich does not value the quality of care she is giving, is rude and unprofessional made comments to me about me after she was done examining me!! This exam was a check on my newly inserted IUD and she didn't even let me know how everything was!! Her staff does not keep her informed as to what medical paperwork they are filling out for her either. In November I brought her a medical report and she had no idea that her staff filled it out incorrectly for me a few weeks prior......here I am thinking this is the second time she has seen this form and she had never laid eyes on it!!!!! Plus her office is busy all day everyday, almost every time you call you are placed on hold for quite a while, with waiting times for scheduled appointments in office being very long as well. Do yourself a favor and find a Dr. who is going to care about you personally, who is nice, who will give you answers and wants to find a solution to any medical problem you may be working on together, not someone who can't remember who you are or if you are on any medicine.
