My Dad used to bring me here as an 11 year old. This golf course brings back so many memories that…read moreI had to visit it again. The course is so nice and well kept and the people who work here very friendly. It is right next to Bass River so a nice view on that side with a nice par 3 that I've seen holes in one many years ago. Watch out for the long par 5 on the back nine !!

Playing a public golf course on a Monday morning, I was not expecting the level of pretentiousness…read morethat I was greeted with at this course. Charging me a full greens fee and cart rate for my girlfriend to ride in a cart with me (who wasn't golfing), not allowing us to go out with our threesome because "only two carts are allowed on a hole at a time".... And to top it off they made us carry a fake set of clubs on our cart to give off the appearance to "members" that she was playing. I mean come on people. It's a Monday morning in 2025 and you're a public golf course. Get off of your high horse. I've played PGA tour and resort courses that are ten times nicer than this course and they couldn't care less if she rode in the cart and never charged us. Miserable old staff who just can't wait to enforce their "rules" on their prestigious $80 public track. I know you cape people are isolated from the rest of the world, but the country club snoot behavior is pretty much withering away (especially at public courses). This is why golf is unapproachable to outsiders (like my girlfriend) who I am trying to introduce to the sport. Because of miserable people enforcing ancient and unnecessary rules. Not playing here again until this course catches up with the times, which at this rate will likely take another 25 years.

A great short course (par 60) and the price is pretty reasonable as a result…read more I've played here twice and the course is well maintained and fun to play. I honestly don't know how it's only got 2 reviews and bad ones, but this course was a delight and a great way to squeeze in a fast 9 or 18 if you're ok with it being a shorter round. Perhaps the new management has turned it around.

Kings Way No Way! My wife and I were looking forward to a…read morenice round of golf at Kings Way golf course. Upon arrival we had asked if they had any snacks or drinks or anything like that. The response was "no, we don't have anything all we have is a little hotel fridge with water in it." But she told us you could go down the street to Peterson's Market and pick up what you need and come back! So my wife and I left the golf course went down the street picked up sandwiches and drinks and returned to start our round of golf. It says the golf course is open to the public but obviously they are not prepared to serve the public. There was no lay out of the golf course on the score card and no one at the starter shack to give you direction. So my wife and I were kind of on our own to figure out what the golf course lay out was like. As my wife and I made the turn at the 10th hole we noticed that on hole 12 there was another group of inexperienced golfers in front of us. We asked where they came from and they said they were sent off the 10th hole to start play! Obviously the starter has no experience in running a golf course. After learning this, my wife and I drove all the way back to the pro shop and told the staff that we were leaving and never coming back. What a waste of $150.00!!! Stay away!
