Gosh, I didn't know what I was missing. This is a true IYKYK! Once you have visited Horrocks, you will return for life. This is a magnificent, rustic, unique, expansive establishment that offers a cornucopia of items. From floral, to meats, cheeses, wine, speciality items, fruits, snacks, vegetables, hard-to-find items and more. There is so much more! Things that stood out even though I loved everything about this place: -the vast selection of canisters of olive oils -the vast array of different varieties of balsamic vinegars (amazing!) -house made items in every area -house made popcorn with so many flavors, so fresh. -the many, many homemade soups: probably around 20 different kinds and delicious. -a ramen bar, what? -bakery -pizzeria -exotic fruits and vegetables and regulars ones too -the wine bar: sip while you shop. -house-made sausages and cheeses -house-made jams, jellies, local honey -extensive variety of spices, herbs, flour and grains - great service, very helpful. We went on a Sunday, so it was un-manned. You can self-serve, which is so cool. You can pay via Venmo or drop cash in the slot! They will even take volunteer work in exchange for produce. Prices are up on their chalkboard and they have beautiful, healthy plants, flowers and veggies. It was such a lovely experience and I'll make sure to visit every time I'm in Lansing. We took home some flowers, bok choy and tomato plants.

In fairness, I could easily give it more than three stars, but I am largely comparing it to the Meridian Township Farmer's Market, which is more expansive and I prefer. In addition to the vendors, they also have live music, which is nice. If you are a student around Michigan State during the summer, this would also be very easy to get to, as it's in Valley Court Park very near to campus. I've bought flower boxes from a lady whose granddaughter told me has huge flower gardens and does this for the love of it, and you can tell, because everything she makes is amazing. From buying eggs to home made Banana bread, organically grown veggies, you'll never be disappointed coming to Fulton Market... so thankful to have this option in our city.

They also feature free performances by local talent and information about the services of the Allen Neighborhood Center. If you have no cash, you can use your debit or credit card to buy tokens at a central table which can be used at any of the stalls. It is an open-air market in a parking lot close to two major East/West Lansing bus routes, and is generally open from mid May through Mid October.
