I've lived all over the UK and I know people will generally look at negative reviews to establish if something is good or not. Having moved from the South West of England to Darlington I was worried about finding a doctors and went with Denmark because it's close to home. I cannot thank or praise the staff enough. Esp the reception team who maintain supportive relationships even after dealing with challenging situations. Though I don't have a regular doctor like I did down south I can request a GP and I've always been supported even when I've left things to last minute.com I've been so impressed I've sent private emaIls to the practise. And though I suspect there are bad experiences (I have had them) the positives of this practice outweigh the negatives. read more

Am absolutely disgusted by this practice. Insulted by extremely rude receptionists to the point I feel physically sick--literally -- when I have to ring them so I avoid ringing them. It's a disgrace. One of them implied I had lived longer than her mother so I should just drop dead!!!! Well,what goes around comes around,and as for the fact all calls are recorded I assume if they were most of the receptionists would be sacked on the spot!They obviously only keep recordings of what makes them seem good.In fact a very good friend of mine told me that's exactly what they do.NYE Bevan would be devastated at what his nhs service had become. Hypocratic oath--first do no harm. What a joke. One doctor actually asked me who NYE Bevin is!!!Am just sat waiting to die now as many of us oldies are.Congratulations Denmark street, you really are disgraceful.I can't physically get to the appointments they sometimes begrudgingly give me and they damn well know that. read more
