In May, my sister-in-law and brother-in-law tried to book a family vacation (two brothers and their spouses) to Alaska in August. They were unsuccessful. They were looking for a small group experience and contacted the usual companies that provided this service. All of these travel companies/travel agents said that nothing was available. My sister- in-law used Google to gather information about travel companies who book trips to Alaska. Some representatives called her back and some did not. Well she hit the jackpot when Kimberly Denison of Denison Travel returned her call. Kimberly listened to my sister-in-law and came up with the most spectacular private 6 person tour to Alaska August 20th through August 29th. Kimberly secured a driver for our group who took us to our daily adventures. She also gathered information about restaurants in each location which was extremely helpful.
From crossing the Artic Circle by air, to flying by helicopter into a glacier and walking on it, to watching bear catch salmon and eat them in Lake Charles (which we got to by float plane), each day's adventure truly was spectacular. This was a trip of a lifetime and our family is indebted to Kimberly for having the patience to put this trip together for us.
