If you're anywhere near Sand City, do yourself a favor and stop by Untamed Fire…read more I wandered in after a psychic reading to pick up a couple of things that had come up during my session, and somehow I walked out with so much more. The moment I approached the store, I was greeted by Augie, Lynette's sweet pup, and then by Lynette herself--who, by the way, has the most gorgeous violet hair. I found everything I was looking for (and then some), but what made this visit unforgettable had nothing to do with crystals or candles. Lynette made me a cup of tea, we chatted about how she opened this store and what kept her going, and within minutes I felt completely at ease... welcomed, included, and genuinely cared for. She shared that what keeps her going is the incredible sense of community she's built through the store and the beautiful souls who walk through her doors. But I'm not sure she realizes she's the heart of it all. Her warmth, kindness, and authenticity are what make this place feel so magical. Untamed Fire isn't just a metaphysical shop--it's one of those rare places that makes you want to slow down, breathe, and listen to what your soul is quietly reaching for. Huge shoutout to Lynette for creating such a beautiful space. If you visit, go with an open heart. You never know what your soul might be drawn to.

We got into town late Sunday afternoon. I was excited when I saw this "shop" across from our hotel…read more I thought I would enjoy going in the next day, Monday. Monday comes and closed. No big deal I know a lot of shops closed on a Monday. The view from my hotel room looks right down to the shop, a little excited as I knew I would know when it opened, as there are no hours posted anywhere. It is now Saturday and not once has this shop been open. I am guessing this is more of a private practice type of place vs store, which I 100% support private practice and client appointments, but the way It's set-up is misleading. Especially seeing as yelp advertises it as open. The practitioner may be wonderful. I have no idea, I did not get an experience, but as for a store, not impressed.

And showed me how she shuffles decks, had me use her cards to try myself - very informative. If she offered some classes of some kind or just events at the shop- I feel like that would be beneficial and of interest. That said, I can't personally shop somewhere that doesn't allow returns once something's opened. The policy makes sense, it's just not a good fit for me. There are quite a lot of items as far as selection for what from the outside looks like a very small shop. Most items are available for much less online, and in my opinion, the value here simply doesn't match the prices. This is really only a place to shop if supporting a local business matters more to you than what you're getting for the money.

My very first session with Dr. Grant was over the phone and I was taken aback by her level of knowledge and intuition. She was the first truly spiritually intellectual conversation that I have had in years and that phone conversation was what made me realize this. I take away something special from every session I have with Dr. Grant and always receive clarity and direction. I refer to her as my spiritual adviser to my friends and I consider her and amazing gift in my life. I had my first session with her in person this last week and found her energy just as warm, kind, true, and healing as I had felt her to be. When I have a session with her, depending on my needs, she will listen; understand; explore, explain and advise; read my chart with great thoroughness; and even do chakra and healing work if it is needed. Oh! I also bought a session from her for my father as a birthday gift one year and he was thoroughly impressed and happy with it. THANK YOU Dr. Grant!!

She has a rare gift of listening beyond the words. Throughout our session, she reflected things back to me in a way that didn't feel performative or scripted--it felt deeply seen. More importantly, she created a space where I could hear myself with greater clarity. One realization alone completely changed something I've been carrying for years. I had spent so much energy trying to forgive my mom, and through our conversation, something shifted. The resentment, the frustration, and even the struggle to forgive simply dissolved into gratitude. It wasn't because my past changed--it was because my perspective did. That kind of shift is hard to put into words, but you know when something deep inside finally relaxes. Whether you're spiritually curious, feeling stuck, standing at a crossroads, or simply longing to understand yourself more deeply, Kristen has a beautiful way of helping you uncover what is already within you. She doesn't tell you who to be--she helps you remember who you are. What touched me just as much as the session itself was Kristen's heart. You can genuinely feel that she wants people to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. Her work isn't just about readings; it's about creating a space where people feel safe enough to transform. If you feel drawn to her, trust that feeling. Sometimes the people we're meant to learn from have a way of finding us exactly when we're ready. Thank you, Kristen, for sharing your gifts so generously. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and genuinely excited about the next chapter of my life. I hope your path continues to bring together a beautiful community of people who are ready to receive what you so lovingly offer--because your gifts deserve to be experienced by those whose hearts are truly ready for them.
