In reading some of the negative reviews, it is disappointing how easy it has become for someone to leave a negative review and damage a person's or business's reputation without knowing--or considering--the whole story. We need to be clear about something: you are not our only client. We work with multiple buyers, sellers, property owners, lenders, title companies, inspectors, appraisers, and other professionals every single day. We are constantly juggling phone calls, appointments, contracts, deadlines, negotiations, and problems that need immediate attention. We absolutely value every client and work hard to provide good service. But expecting us to drop everything the moment you call or need something is simply not realistic. Not receiving an immediate response does not mean you are being ignored. It does not mean we don't care. And it certainly does not justify going online and trashing someone's reputation because everything didn't happen exactly when or how you wanted it to. A negative review can affect a small business and the people who have spent years building their professional reputation. If you have a problem with the service you received, talk to us. Give us an opportunity to address it. Communication works both ways. We will always do our best for our clients--but we also ask for a little patience, fairness, and respect in return. There are two sides to every story. A review only tells one of them, you might be amazed at the other side. read more

Horrible agent. She is very dishonest and led me and my husband on a wild goose chase. We came from Florida and she deceived us about every property. Yes I agree with the racism part, as she only really wants to deal with Hispanics. A friend of mine was looking for a property in Deming and she refused to show it to he. We had get get the Real Estate Commission involved. This woman is beyond unethical, she is downright evil. read more

Buying/selling a home can be stressful, but Eva made it so much easier. She was patient, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond. We never felt rushed or pressured, and the whole process went smoothly from start to finish. If you're looking for someone you can trust Eva, She is the one. read more

Went in to Deming Realty to obtain information on homes in the area. The receptionist greeted me and directed me to one of the brokers, Eva Luna. She gave me information on some listings. I also inquired about the possibility of maybe building a new home. She was knowledgeable about the real estate market and seemed to know a lot about new construction. I was impressed with Eva. I am also exploring Las Cruces. However, If I decide to relocate to Deming I will be coming back to this office. read more

If we could give -0000 stars, we definitely would. Worst experience of our lives. Dealing with Deming Realty was an absolute nightmare. Please, please look for another realty company if you need one. If you are courageous enough to use them, please be prepared to be misled and lied to, plan to overlook their unprofessionalism, including having to do much of the work yourself, try to ignore their racism, try not to be offended by their resident preacher/agent stating they will pray the demons out of you, deal with statements that they are trying to help the seller make some money when said agent was supposed to be working on our behalf, kept having to be reminded that the seller had their own agent who was supposed to be assisting them, and this agent was supposed to be working on our behalf. Tried numerous times to get us to overlook documents that were required and needed to be signed and submitted in a timely manner. Our lender and the seller's agent had these issues with them, too. To discourage us from purchasing the property we really wanted, this agent insisted it was a mobile home, although it isn't. Also, beware of any contractors recommended by them as 1 scammed us out of several hundred dollars, and the other lied to us and our lender and ended up not even having a current business license. read more

I inherited my father's property and needed it to sell. Eva Luna came very highly recommended by some of the local businesses and people in Deming. She guided me thru the probate process and recommended a good attorney. I listed the house with her, She is very professional and knows the Deming market. The house was sold within a couple of months. I was very pleased with her services and would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting to buy or sell a home in Deming. read more

Deming Realty - Toilet full of crap sitting 3 to 4 weeks that tenant left for us (new owner) How Did EVA LUNA MISS THIS IN THE WALK THREW SHE SAID SHE DID? - Real Estate Services Near Me - Deming, New Mexico

I visited Eva in her office several months ago after being dissatisfied with a prior realtor in Deming and while she spent a few minutes with me and seemed to understand what I was looking for, I NEVER heard anything back from her. If she's too busy, then pass me off to someone else! She now has a new listing that I'm interested in but I won't call her; I'll find another realtor and if I end up buying the property, she will have to split the commission! read more

Toby is racially biased ignorant & a representation of ignorance. This reality company seems to only approve certain individuals but are happy to accept any and application fee. Toby specifically stated the reality company doesn't go by credit score the moment we arrived and she seen our race, she was rude, agreed she and dismissive wouldn't answer questions ANYTHING! I recently had my home sold by Eva Luna from Deming Realty - and although my home sold quickly her lack of responsiveness, empathy and profesionalisim really impacted my review and feelings for Deming Realty. Remember that a speedy sale doesn't always equal a successful sale. I grew up in Deming on the property I was selling and I was hesitant to sell. I was unaware of what price I wanted to list my home so I decided to seek out services from a realty company. I wanted a realtor who showed empathy, who was going to educate me on the best selling price and take care of my property. I didn't want a "post and pray," type realtor. I wanted to be involved in my sale. I should have probably stated that information to her initially - my fault, I guess. I live in San Antonio and Eva was recommended by my cousin who bought a home from her. We met with Eva and she seemed very eager to get started. It helped that she was bilingual. I didn't really have time to research for other realtors so I went with her. I gave her a price I wanted to start with and she insisted on a price that was about $25,000 less than the one I wanted. We finally settled on a price but I was still hesitant as I felt it was low. She stated that she felt she did not have the "comps," to support the price as the area was not a good area and my home was old. I appreciate honesty, and it did not bother me to hear this. To start off with it was hard to communicate with Eva because it seemed that she was very busy. I made things easier by hiring a caretaker for my property to keep the property clean and free of "Squatters." I though that would assist Eva in selling my home quickly. I am glad I hired someone because I never heard from Eva as to wether or not she had been over to my property and wether it was doing ok. She did text me on occasion to tell me she was showing my property. When we finally got a buyer negotiations began - we settled on a price. She gave me a date for closing and I asked for more time and she submitted an extension. The Title Company (Luna County Abstract & Title) was although a little slow and lacked responsiveness as well. When they emailed me the closing docs no one called me or anything - just instructions on how to fill out and a number to call if I had questions. I promptly filled out and had a notary on hand so I could mail the docs back that day. The Title Company didn't even contact me to let me know they received my docs and that everything was in order. I asked Eva about the hold up and she said - "if I had any questions I should contact the title Company directly," oh...ok. I emailed the company and finally received an email back from Madison Maynes. We finally closed. Moving on I contacted the owner Totsie Slover to express my concerns and her answer was simply that , "Eva was very overwhelmed," and Totsie seemed to have no care or concern herself, by simply saying hmmm, uh huh to everything I said I told her that a simple thank you for my business and trust would of sufficed - but she seemed even scared herself as an owner to articulate any type of care. She thanked me for calling. Eva never even thanked me for my business. I will not recommend her to anyone. I sold my property on 27 Aug and its now 30 Aug and never heard back from her. I think that's rude and unprofessional. So all in all if you are interested in just selling your home without any concern or involvement in the sale, than this is your place and realtor. Working with Totsie for 20 years has been great, she is a very caring and a helpful person and I know she works hard to get properties sold. The review about the land being listed from Oct 2014 to January 2019 is more than likely a Deming Ranchette. There are lots of these parcels for sale and if there is no market then they are not going to sell. Land here in Deming has been slow since about 2010 and we are just now getting more activity on them. Real Estate agents can not manufacture buyers! As to the person who said Deming Realty took his $500 and they never got it back, to get the earnest money back both buyer and seller has to agree on releasing it. I would say maybe the buyer walked away from the purchase, therefore the seller felt that because of the time off the market he should get the earnest money. It is hard to say without knowing what the actual deal was. Deming Realty is the best!!! read more

Toby is rude!!! I wanted to see a house and I told her I worked from 8-5pm. She said she can't show me a house after 5 because she goes home to feed her kids. I understand. I asked her if she could show it Saturday and she says she has plans. When her voicemail clearly says she can show homes in weekends by appointments. She is rude, don't give this business service. read more

Totsie is terrible! We gave our $500 down as she required for the house which they cashed the check and then sold the house to someone else!! Not only did we try to go through them to purchase a home but called the office to inquire about other places and RUDE employees!! You're better off contacting the original owners and doing the research yourself!! read more
