He didn't think he could drive far and he was alone (I was out of state). He didn't want to have to wait for an appointment with an orthopedist and didn't know of any chiropractors in the area. So he just started calling local chiropractors. The first one who could take him was Dr. Mancini. He went immediately. She determined, in her calm fashion, that although he had a muscle spasm there was something else causing the severity of pain he was in. She sent him across the street to an imaging place where he had a CT scan. He had an aortic aneurysm which was big enough to burst. He was rushed to the hospital, had successful surgery, and is A-OK. Whenever he tells an MD this story, they are shocked that a chiropractor found the aneurysm. That's how good she is. The second part is that I took a serious fall in June, landing on my left hip. My entire spine went out of whack. It took a while to stabilize as the damage was extensive, but she was able to slowly get each of those vertebrae and the pelvis back where they belonged. We have now moved to Omaha and with the demands of "the season" upon us, I think of Carol every day as I could really use a "tune up." Dr. Mancini is kind, understanding and full of good cheer. Her office staff is the same and the office is well managed. Unlike some practices which push additional treatments, they are available if you want them, but they are never pushed. There are few medical people I have dealt with over the years who rate 5 stars in every category. Carol Mancini should get a 6. She saved my husband's life!
