It was almost 2:30-3pm when we decided to give Plan B a try because of their prices and handful of reviews on Yelp. The inside of the sandwich shop was very rustic with a nice eclectic feel. All the tables were full but we were able to snag a table that came open soon after arriving. A friendly waiter came over to take our order. The menu was not extensive. There were about a dozen sandwiches to choose from and the option to get the handheld in a combo (+drink or drink+dessert). The better deal was to go with a combo so we did. After waiting a couple of minutes our sandwiches were brought out and they were delicious. Very simple yet made with quality fresh ingredients to give you a healthy lunch. I had Le Mama without tomatoes and I really enjoyed it. For dessert we opted to try a chocolate brownie to cleanse the palate. I think what added to this experience was the ambiance and gorgeous day outside. Being able to say we were enjoying a sandwich in the cafes of Bordeaux is pretty fantastic, no? I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good yet budget friendly meal.

The fries were perfectly crunchy and served with ketchup & aioli. And wow, their burgers were delicious!!! The meat was perfectly seasoned. A little undercooked but they kindly cooked it medium for us. The bun was very fluffy and the toppings were incredible. We got our burgers with bacon, caramelized onions, chives, and burger sauce. SO good and so filling! Last, we had their homemade frozen yogurt which was amazing! Highly recommend trying it. Will definitely come back here next time we are in Bordeaux. They know how to make burgers the right way!
