Dropped off 2 purses for cleaning, took 2 weeks and they were worse than before cleaning. The wrong cleaner was used on one and ruined the leather. I cleaned the other myself at home and it came cleaner than what the 'professionals' did.Charged me $30 each purse, I won't be back! read more

Deluxe Dry Cleaners offers slower than necessary turn around times, especially when the sky-high prices it charges are taken into account. They can get away with it, however, as there are only two dry cleaners in St. John's that I know of, with one more in the St. John's metro area, and they all charge similar prices. That being said, as Deluxe charges between 50¢ and $6 more for each of the items that I would typically have cleaned, they're not likely to get my business until they bring their prices down a great deal. Dry cleaning prices in St. John's are ridiculous enough as it is; I'm not interested in paying over the odds for already overpriced dry cleaning services. Dealing with the Churchill Square location... It is bad enough that they do not open until 9:00am (people who work business hours - in most cities a dry cleaner's main customers, cannot drop off clothes here unless they arrange to be late for work...)... But, this morning I waited until 9:15 in attempt to drop off several shirts. I had to give up. I don't know if anyone ever showed up to open the store, but when I left there was a line of 3 people waiting outside - trying to figure out if there was an alternative to this unstaffed location. read more

I have been a customer of Deluxe Dry Cleaners for almost three years now since I moved to St. Johns from Montreal. The prices are much lower than I anticipated in comparison to Montreal, and the service is the best I've ever received. I travel a lot for work, so I frequent many dry cleaning establishments. Deluxe has the friendliest staff and offers same day service at no additional charge; and is the superior option for dry cleaning services in the St. John's area. read more
