Wonderful place to stop for fresh produce and gifts when traveling through the Sacramento Delta Region (and worth going a little bit out of the way for). I always get a few jams to gift to people, and whatever produce is in season. They have white nectarine, peach, apricot, and strawberry. The jalapeño strawberry is one of my dad's favorites. Their pies are also very good! The barn is very cute and the water tower is hard to miss. They have clean restrooms with flush toilets for travelers. They Staff has always been super helpful and there are usually a few free samples to try. Do note that the produce selection is not as great in the winter, but still worth a quick stop for some ginger snap cookies! read more

I'd have to say, while it tasted delicious, there were way too many thinly sliced apples and still slightly crunchy. I finally had the opportunity to stop at this place that I've passed by so many times when taking the 160 Highway. I should've stopped here sooner than later, but I guess timing was perfect. This place has the fresh produce along with healthy snacks and wine and beer tasting Included. There's also a food truck and a sitting area to enjoy live music on Saturday and Sunday. You literally can make this a Saturday fun day or a Sunday fun day type of event. The watermelon, mint ,Feta and Spring mix salad with lemon vinaigrette dressing, that I purchased was worth every bit of what I paid. It took literally the whole day to eat it, that's how much the portion size was. The staff was so inviting it felt like this is extended family welcoming you in. I love this place but unfortunately the past few times we have come to the store and got a few items they haven't been good, Last Tuesday we came and got a few items such as their salsa and guacamole, got home to have a few bites and noticed that the guacamole was very pungent and unbearable to eat (forgot to take photo) but the other salsa was great. Now come this Saturday(March 22nd) we got some more salsa and chips as well as a some cookies and an apple cinnamon bread loaf. We came home everything was good until we wanted to eat some of the loaf, we went to go open it but noticed a nat or fruit fly flying under the plastic wrap with the bread, I then tried to call the store but there was no answer. In the span of a few days we had unfortunately thrown out the items and the prices aren't that cheap as well, but as always the staff is super friendly and sweet. read more

I drive by this location every single day during my commute to and from work. Since I saw that they were open today, decided to stop by. I was a nice and pleasant location to visit as it's always kept very clean. They do have an added addition for lunch on the weekends, a little trailer that serves foods there so I might check that out this weekend. They also have a small wine tasting bar for $15 per person. I was excited to know that of their specialty beers and ciders the one that I enjoy. They normally would carry it but they just sold their last one recently but that they can get it back in. Nice staff. They also have a nice outside extension with picnic tables for sitting and enjoying your meal or just taking a nice little break enjoying the views or your drink. Cute pit stop in the Delta region (not far from the bridge by Rio Vista). They feature fresh fruits/veggies, as well as fresh baked pies/baked goods, gourmet sauces/spices local honey, pickled veggies, picnic supplies, sourdough bread, craft beer and wine tastings, too! I have been stopping at this fruit stand several times a month for years as I travel from the SF Bay to Jackson, CA to my cabin in the Sierra's. I stop to use the bathroom, stretch my legs, and grab a snack or drink. Sure the produce is expensive and perhaps not even local but the staff has always been super friendly. This Sunday my boyfriend and I stopped and sat a one of the picnic tables (there were many empty tables) to listen to the live music and an aggressive woman, not sure if she was the owner or if she worked at the food truck, came up to us and told us we had to leave if we weren't going to buy any food and slammed her hands on the table. One of the waitresses apologized, but to say the least we were startled and left promptly. Not sure if I will return to market. Not the best customer service! I'll hold out to Lodi next time. read more

I want to start out saying that I frequent Deltas Farmers Market and really like it. The positive first is that the inside of the store is clean, well stocked and organized and has a good variety of products to eat and drink. They have clean available restrooms for customers. They have convenient adequate parking. In the needs improvement category, they need to clean off their outside picnic tables and floor at least daily. This area is covered with a climbing grapevine that attracts birds that make a mess. Also, I was there on Monday and bought a homemade loaf of pumpkin bread for $7.95, but when I visited again on Wednesday, the price went up to $9.95, a two dollar increase! Lastly, when I asked if the coffee was fresh, I was told that they offered coffee brewed the day before because they do not have enough coffee requests and did not want to dump out the pot. Everybody wants fresh brewed coffee, not day old. I suggest that they invest in a Keurig with K-cups for individual fresh cups of coffee, instead of brewing an entire pot at a time and letting it just sit there. The prices are on the high side, but the quality of their products are good. They should consider lowering their prices to be a bit more affordable. Thank you! read more

Been stopping by here frequently as of late to chug some beers before fishing. No beer on tap, but they have a variety of craft beers. I'm no beer connoisseur, but when I see a variety of beers I tend to grab a few random ones and hope to find a favorite. They also have wine, veggies, fruits, and snacks. Ambiance was great, and food was delicious. Good vibes and very friendly staff. My husband had the Nachos with Pork and I had the Turkey Chili and they were both very tasty! However, while we were trying to enjoy our food the owner, Laura was very interrupting and wouldn't let us enjoy our food in peace. She was pushy and pressured my husband and I to have a conversation with her. Which was very disappointing because our meal was great and we were just trying to enjoy our food. Stopped by on 9/5/22 to check their produce on our way home. It was a triple digit day so understandably things weren't gunna be cold and crisp...they were actually warm and wilted! Gross. I needed up getting some pickled things, some honey and a 6 pack of beer (they have a good selection inside the building). About a week later, I grab one of those bad boys outta the fridge and the taste was off and I couldn't quite say what it was. We stumbled across this place after taking a day trip to check out the town of Rio Vista. It was on the side of the main road and looked interesting. OMG did I love this place. Tons of local items like, honey, jams, jellies, rubs, olive oils and more. They also have a great wine area to buy wine and you can purchase meat and cheese there to eat as well as drinks and eat them on the patio. I guess on the weekends they have live music! My husband and I definitely want to come back on a weekend and check out the music. I purchased over 100 dollars worth of stuff here! I loved it all. While taking the scenic route from Sacramento I always see this Market when I hit the light but never really take advantage of it as I'm always about my destination. This time around I was all about enjoying all the places en route and thought to pick up a few items. The Market has a nice selection of fruits and vegetables available along with a bunch of things ranging from beef jerky, jellies, popcorn, canned items, etc... Bonus, they have a has a wine tasting room so if your interested in doing some tasting or picking up some local wines then this is a nice spot. Yes, it's a bit pricy but for certain items, but I tend to look at it as specialty items I can't get on the regular so it's a treat. I'm all about supporting local businesses. I picked up an apple pie and when I got to my destination everyone enjoyed it. Also grabbed some organic sugar-free soda's that were good, a few bags of nuts, veggies, and some fruit. By far my favorite country store style place that I've stopped at road tripping around California. I appreciate how everything here is really local, and the vibe is so nice and friendly - especially now that the band is playing on the weekends. It's a treat to stop by for a snack and a drink, and hear some music on the patio (with a beer if you're a passenger). I saw you can get a full lunch here now so I'll have to give that a try next time. Nice selection of craft beers in the fridge and lots of good local produce too. My friend and I were on the way to Fairfield and we took the back roads from Oakley. And came across this farmers market. Love visiting places that's almost in the middle of nowhere and they sell all kinds of goodies made from local farmers. They offer fruits and vegetables for sale, they offer so much more like local wines and craft beer, popcorn, chocolates, candy, cookies, a selection of handmade/homemade pies (that's fresh from the oven), and so much more. On the corner of HWY 12 and SR 160 sits Delta Farmers Market. Across from Rio Vista proper. The market has fresh picked, fresh dug up, fresh baked, FRESH FOOD!! Veggies, fruits, nuts, breads & muffins, jelly & jams, honey, sauces, oils and much more. Im telling you, there are more goodies they offer...go check them out! They have a variety of 1lb breads. I like their jalapeno cheddar Chipotle bread for about $6 each. I love local honey and only buy local, not grocery bought. They sell a few local ones in different sizes. Wildflower ones are super sweet and perfect sweetness for my daily coffee. They say a teaspoon of local honey daily is good for the immune system. I saw they also have pre-made sammys in cooler. They have local cold beers, local wine, coffee and even goodies to put together a small or big charcuterie and eat there at one of the many picnic tables in the shaded courtyard listening to live music. Live music is every Saturday and Sunday. I saw a sign about wine tasting. Open 7 days a week. On site gender specific restrooms. Gift items too! They take debit/credit card. It's a mirage. We were taking a detour driving home from Sacramento a couple of weekends ago to avoid traffic. It was a nice and scenic drive through the Delta that was quite pleasant as we had never been in this part of California before. I noticed this place as we were waiting at a stop light and asked the Wifey if she wanted a quick stop to check out the place. It was strategically located at the intersection to attract attention and it's obviously working as it's one of the few stores that you will come across and it is striking with its big, bold, white "DELTA FARMERS MARKET" sign with a barn red background. It was attracting cars like a lighthouse guiding lost boats to the shore. I changed lanes and pulled in at this impressive-looking place and checked out their products. At first glance, this looked like one of those roadside market stalls that are charming, affordable, friendly and inviting. It was quite the contrary and we got an immediate sticker shock. The watermelon (albeit jumbo sized) were priced at over $12 bucks each. Damn, I could go to Half Moon Bay and get that same sized watermelon for less than half that price. Granted there were some items that were reasonably priced, we found most of them were overpriced compared to even some supermarkets (Safeway, Ranch 99 etc...) and especially farmers' markets held in the city. We couldn't figure out why the majority of the prices were so high since they were in Central Valley, the bread basket of California. Also, the weather here is always hotter compared to the coast but I was feeling cold. Cold stares that is. The lady at the cash register just kept eyeing me and wouldn't even smile or say hi to greet a customer. I don't know...maybe she saw darkness in me when she peered into my eyes and soul. On that note, I took my money across the street in a small shack selling fruits and veggies. At least the Asian lady there greeted us like family and was very warm. Wine and craft beer tasting at the corner of 160 and 12. Really cool upscale market in the delta. I usually stop here on my way from Sacramento to Black Diamonds Mine Regional Park while driving through the delta. They have fresh produce and a ton of snacks. However the best part is the beer and wine selection. Not to take home (you can do that too), but to drink on their vine covered patio. The best part is to buy some cheese or fried okra (trust me on that) and some crackers and meats, grab a picnic table underneath the shade of grape vines and sip some local beer and/or local wine. I've gotten the taster for both the wine and the beer and have been happy with both. Conclusion: this is a great stop to sit in the afternoon sun. Get there on the weekends for their free music and other events. They are also building a food venue for bbq as well. read more

This is large fruit market is open year-around featuring local produce, wine, jams and mustard. There isn't much locally grown produce in December, what they did have looked very fresh. This is really more of a store than a produce stand. The structure is permanent and very clean inside. I suddenly had to have potatoes and they did not have any which was surprised me. I do think that I will stop here again when they have more in the store. And I might stop sooner to buy the peach jam; the woman working there said it was their best seller. It is made from peaches grown in the Delta and is tasty. The wine tasting is always a plus and perhaps the firewood they carry is too. If I hadn't bought the jam it would be 3 stars but it is so good I am giving the 4 stars. read more

Ive wanted to stop at this market for years. I finally had the opportunity one afternoon on an adventure with the kids while we were camping. Surprisingly, they didn't have that much of a selection as I thought they would. It was Ok but not that great. We got some apples and other veggies to bbq. The kids picked some different fancy candies out and my son got ice cream. They had a free sample of pinion nuts that the kids loved. I found a nice dry rub for pork that I used that night on some pork chops to bbq. Its now my favorite thing to spice pork with and I would probably come back to buy more of it if I needed to. The prices are really high. So be prepared to fork over some cash. read more

My wife and I came across the market when we were forced to take a detour on the way home from the Bay Area. Needless to say we found a nice little hidden gem. Parking is fairly abundant and the market is clean. The staff are friendly, helpful, and polite. They have a fairly decent selection of fruits and veggies. I was stoked to see they had Dole Royal Hawaiian pineapples. They were likely seconds since they were a little smaller but they were fresh. We ended up with some excellent Brentwood sweet corn, honey, onions, pineapples, squash, tomatoes, and zucchini. Prices were a little higher than average but the quality of all the items made up for it. Cash or credit cards are accepted. If nothing else, I'll make a trip out here for the pineapples. read more
