So, I called for a clinic and put my name down. BTW, a customer has to call to register, There is nothing automated. Customers have to call a week before, or sooner. Scheduling beyond that is not permitted. I showed up for my clinic to discover that they only had 1 person registered and my name wasn't there even though I called and was confirmed registered. No cancellation calls, nor emails (because nothing is automated). The reality check for me was that their front desk was it was covered with paper/forms and it took them a while to find the right form. A scene of the 1990s. I was shocked this center functions with everything being manual!!! Absolutely discourage anyone from using their services until they upgrade.

My grandparents were longtime members of this grand club, and my mother and my aunts grew up as members of this club. I got to watch a Cape Kennedy rocket launch from the club patio when I was a child. I remember Andre, the club's General Manger, who warmly and kindly greeted my grandparents at the club. This wonderful club represents the best of Florida's culture and class. I hope that I can visit this club again one day. I am from Chicago. My grandparents retired from Illinois to Gulf Stream, and joined several south Florida clubs. Timing and rules changed throughout the event, teams played different numbers of matches and teams did not play every other team as we were told they would. I have played in many tournaments and run some too and this should be straightforward with a fixed amount of time and a fixed number of teams. Two teams were selected to play a finals match, how was not clear. Our team never played one of them and we only played a few points in a partial game against the other. No one knows how well their team did overall because no results were posted. I was very disappointed and my partner, who invited me to play with him in this event, apologized for the poor experience and said he was embarrassed.

Fun and challenging little executive course. 12 par 3's and 6 par 4's coming it at around 3,000…read moreyards. Most of these are on the short side, but almost every hole has an approach over water to a small and undulating green. This course will really give you a chance to dial in your short irons, or you will be losing a lot of balls. The course does have some distance between some of the holes as it meanders through the community so a cart is still the way to go. Some of the carts have little air conditioners built in. That is a first for me, but must be really nice on the hot days. It is pretty loud, but can just be turned on and off in between shots. There are some really nice courses not too far away, but would recommend as a good practice round, or if you don't have much time or are playing with someone that a full course might be too much for. The length would be good for a beginner, but all the water would make it a pretty tough test for them.

This park truly had a glow-up -- and I mean a serious one…read more About a year ago, I wasn't the biggest fan of Patch Reef Park. The playground used to feel a bit unsafe, especially for younger kids. There were tall play structures (including a ship-style area) with spots lacking proper railings, and some slides ended too high off the ground, which made landings uncomfortable and even risky. The splash area was a fun idea, but the flooring was worn out, and the restrooms definitely needed an upgrade. Fast forward to now -- everything has changed. The renovation completely transformed this space into one of our favorite family spots, especially during hot Florida days. The playground is now fully enclosed with a fence and has a single entrance, which makes it much easier to keep an eye on kids The layout is circular, so visibility is great from almost any angle There's a shaded splash pad area (huge plus in the summer!) A separate, safe toddler zone -- thoughtfully designed and much more secure Soft ground (similar to artificial turf) -- very comfortable for kids The splash area has rubber flooring, and the play structures for older kids are still fun but noticeably safer now. There are also two swing areas and a basketball court. Small note: I personally think the basketball area should be fenced off -- balls can occasionally fly into the playground (we've experienced that ourselves). There are benches and picnic tables, but they fill up quickly on weekends. Pro tip: bring a picnic blanket and lunch -- it turns into the perfect cozy family setup. Other great features: * Clean, spacious restrooms (with very large changing stations) * Drinking water fountain * Easy parking * A cute little free book box -- bring a book, take a book * Walking trails with lots of greenery -- perfect for scooters and relaxed strolls One tiny aesthetic note -- some of the flooring colors (bright red/blue) feel a bit intense visually, but the green areas look beautiful and natural. Overall: an amazing upgrade. Safe, clean, well-designed, and very family-friendly. We come here often now, and the kids absolutely love it.

They have a tennis coach for the people who live there. In the club house they have a billiard table, ping pong table, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and splash area. The other people seemed friendly. Probably it would depend on what they tell you the monthly maintenance fees are in order to determine how worth while it would be.

I walked in looking to purchase THREE new callaway quantum clubs, expecting the total to be over $1000. The first older gentleman I asked was standing by the simulators. "Hello, do you have the new quantum's to try". He responded with, no, we won't have them for 3 weeks. I then asked, "well how about the new mizuno?". Again he responded no, another 3 weeks. So then I walk over to the racks, I find the exact two clubs I'm looking to try available. I bring them over, and say: "it looks like you have the clubs, can I try them?" I am then scolded, told those are new clubs, don't touch them, put them back. I say well yes obviously, and returned the club. Finally, after 20 minutes, I was then able to try the new quantum driver. I hit it for 5 mins, then was ready to try the mizuno. The guy who helped us was busy with another group. So I waited. When he returned I asked to try the mizuno. TO MY SURPRISE: he then tells me, you have to leave the booth. I asked Why sir? Do you think i am not able to buy the clubs? He responded with, we have another customer waiting, and you've been here 10 minutes. I just said ok, and left. Not worth my stress. Talk about losing an easy sale though. Horrible taste in my mouth after this. Shocking really.
