When I tell you Mike is an awesome DJ it doesn't even do him justice! I'm not going to lie I had some concerns when he showed up late to our zoom consultation due to the time change that weekend, but after that everything worked out smoothly. While searching for our wedding venue, Mike of Dellinger Entertainment was recommended by a couple of different spots, so we knew we had to book him for our wedding. We were right to do so! Mike, and his wife Amber who handles most email correspondences and other arrangements, were so easy to work with. During our initial Zoom consultation with Mike, he was of course super professional and organized, but also obviously a chill and fun person who could clearly turn on the stoke for a big party! We searched no further for our DJ. We initially signed him on for reception only, as Plan A was to have a live musician for ceremony/cocktail hour, but when the artist had to cancel, Mike very easily said it was no problem to extend and have him there for the full event. Amber and Mike also graciously offered us to settle our new balance for the extra time based on their 2021 rates even though it was already 2022, since we signed our initial contract back in 2021. It was so kind of them to look out for us in that way! As wedding planning gets hectic, we had a few minor hiccups on our end, and Amber and Mike were always understanding and accommodating while they helped us get on track. As our big day got underway, we had a handful of pretty big issues with one of our other major vendors, which made us even happier to have Mike on our team - He was already very familiar with our venue (Secluded Garden Estate), so I'm sure our coordinators really appreciated him being able to get things together while they ran damage control elsewhere, plus his chill attitude and ability to adjust the party vibes as needed kept everything flowing regardless of what was going on behind the scenes. So many timeline adjustments had to happen on the fly, but Mike rolled with it and kept the party going! We had a couple of non-traditional requests, such as a rather off-the-wall father/bride dance mashup and a mid-reception Backstreet Boys bride singalong, and Mike handled it all perfectly. We knew we had a lot of dance partiers on our guest list, but were still surprised at how many stayed on the floor until the very end - Mike threw down all the right tunes at the right times to keep everyone groovin'! Mike, we're so happy we had you for our big day - We really appreciate your flexibility with all the timeline delays, and our family and friends are still talking about what a great time they all had during our reception. Mikie is the shit. Super easy to work with and he's super down to earth. We met Mikie at the Wedding Extravangaza Wedgewood held and he played all the music my husband and I listen to. We spoke briefly with him and we really vibed with him. Wedgewood typically assigns DJ's for the wedding day but we snagged him as soon as we could. I gave him 4 or 5 different playlist for each portion of the wedding and told him to add songs he felt would add to the vibe. Absolutely amazing service!! Me and my husband hired him for our wedding on August 21st. He was great through everything! He was very understanding and allowed us to change our date due to covid from our original date in March to August. We had calls once almost every other month to make sure we were all on the same page through the entire process leading up to our day.
