The one night the music started at 12pm and we got there at 1130 and really like only 3 people were there by 1210am the place was packed! Great live Spanish guitar music! There aren't many chairs as it really is all about have space to dance. Great live music. Great space, filled with mostly young business professionals (on weeknights at least) and great drinks! Scamming guests and rude bartenders…read more We visited Dux Gin Bar in Barcelona on Friday night as a group and ordered 7 gin & tonics. The staff insisted they use 6cl of gin in each drink -- but honestly, it tasted like tonic water with little to no gin at all. For a place branding itself as a gin bar, this was extremely disappointing. The drinks were weak, overpriced for what we received, and the experience felt misleading. Sadly, I would not recommend this place if you actually expect a proper gin & tonic.

The outside and inside is decorated in Hawaiian style. On Fridays and Saturday they have hula dancers. It is a place frequented by locals. It also has cabanas inside the bar that you can rent and spend some romantic time. The seats are made of imitation rock and the entire atmosphere is Polynesian. Also these guys know how to make drinks in pineapple and coconut containers. They also know how to make very good Hendricks martinis. The service excellent and we were given some delicious shot with pineapple before we left. Very cozy, nice atmosphere, outstanding service and good music.
