The chinese takeaways there are not upto much so I was surprised by how good this one was. I have tried many things off the menu and not once have I been disappointed. Highly recommended

I was lucky enough to have an awesome experience in London. These are the things that were different for the worse: 1) the tables were disgustingly sticky and it smelled. Even after the staff cleaned after we complained. 2)the chicken lacked flavor and was cooked too quickly without any technique or method Proper Nando's chicken is charred and saucy on the outside.. 3)as opposed to the London location, no one seemed to care if anyone was having a good experience
This was my fist visit to Nandos and Kaspars…read more Starting with Nandos. Friends and family have been telling me for years how nice Nandos is.so, I thought I'd give it a try for my self. Upon entering I found it to be a very vibrant and colourful restaurant with numerous art works on the wall. well lit and ample seating for couples and groups of people. We were seated very quickly and after deciding what to eat we ordered at 7pm. I ordered a grilled chicken with mango and passion fruit sauce in a pitta bread along with lettuce, cucumber and peppers. I also has chips with peri salt and coleslaw as sides. The peri salted chips were seasoned well and tasted great! crispy on the outside fluffy on inside although one complaint..... I have is that they could have been a bit hotter and not luke warm. I found the chicken in pitta to be very disappointing, in my opinion the chicken was on the dry side and not much of the mango and passion fruit sauce. The pitta was also very chewy and not very flavourful. One very positive note is that we were seated quickly, food was ordered at 7pm and arrived at 7:05pm very quick, staff were also pleasent and helpful. 3*

It was a few different pubs, a classic British restaurant and just a building at various times, before the smart guys who now run it, came and opened up a classy Indian restaurant. It was opened as 'Bombay Spice' and took only a few weeks before establishing itself in Swansea as one of the premier spots for a curry. It was done out very tastefully, and was one of the first of its kind - the modern Indian restaurant, which is now so popular across Britain - decorated in a fashionable, clean style with few references to Indian culture. The food expresses the culture all by itself. Excellent Indian food. That's it, basically. Great service and lovely surroundings. When the capital of India changed from Bombay to Mumbai, the restaurant kept up and changed its name too. They also opened another restaurant with the same principals of excellent, authentic Indian food, good service and trendy decor in St Helen's Road, and that has been equally successful. Obviously it is a very popular place for my old household to go to, because there is a 2 minute walk home. Otherwise, there is some free parking available.
