The waiters were all well groomed and were very attentive, did not pester us or hurry us up to order. I was there with my family and in-laws for dinner on 6/9/13 and the place was only half full. There was only one person who was taking orders and serving meals so getting that person's attention was a bit like waving at a blind man to get his attention. When he finally did come to the table, we felt like we were being rushed to place an order. I mean, with the place being half full and only one person serving, that was understandable. What wasn't understandable was waiting for 45 minutes for the food to be served. It would have been worth the wait if the food were exceptional but it wasn't. Chinese food in St. Albans cooked by Vietnamese is 10x better than the food here. They even had the nerve to say that the food took so long because it was a busy night. Hello? Half full is a busy night for you? I'd hate to go there if it's actually full. When you go to an Asian restaurant and there are no Asians eating there, go somewhere else. read more

I couldnt tell you how long Delicious has been operating.I do know that the best way to describe it to any one from the west is " you know that chinese place thats always been there on ballarat rd between kings rd and macca's?". The green and white colour theme and the random fish tank definitely dont have this place competing for any decor awards, but its also nice to just enjoy a meal in an unpretentious restaurant which, when I think about it is getting harder and harder to do. The family that runs this place is headed by the cutest grandmother in the world, who shuffles along ushering you to your table. Its a multi generational effort, and seeing as im a sucker for all small family businesses, definitely made me happy!! Normally, I hate sharing meals - though I make an exception is when it comes to asian food!. My last meal with a friend and her husband had us sharing Spicy Scallops, Mongolian Beef, and Lemon Chicken, all with Special Fried rice and a Spring Rolls for an entree. Needless to say, they had to roll me out of there! The meals are actually beautifully presented, and really tasty. So glad this place lives up to its name! read more

Really delicious. Big servings, good deals when you order using the eat now app. The cashier doesn't speak English though so it is a bit hard to collect your order. Two staff members said that they had no order for us then another person popped out from around the corner with our food. Apart from that though the sweet and sour fish and the vegetables and rice are really delicious. read more

Muriel's wedding style Chinese! This is your typical 1970's Aussie Chinese restaurant. Complete with pastel apricot walls and paper placemats. The food also is of this era and style. I have to say out west you can do a lot better than here unless you have a hankering for old school Aussie Chinese! read more
