I was having some trouble with my tank and didn't have time to get to my normal vape haunts on South Street. I ended up here because I work in Delco and it was convenient to get to. I wasn't impressed upon walking in. Very unlike many vape shops, the decorum was...Underwhelming. I've bad experiences with places that give me this first impression (see: World's Finest Vape Shop), but I stuck it out. I interrupted the poor shop boy's solitary lunch but he was more than willing to help me. I found him very dedicated and knowledgeable and he solved my problem pretty much immediately. He took his time with me and even made some other suggestions -- and ultimately talked me into upgrading my hardware which was NOT part of the original plan (it never is lol) and I continue to be happy with my purchase a month later. I believe they stock only house blend juices which is either a good or bad thing depending on who you ask. I was in a hurry so I didn't have any time to try them but I'll be back!! read more

I stopped by a few days ago because I lost my rice pin on my nemesis mod and I had to get a new mechanical mod. I will say that they are patient. I'm not exactly your typical mechanical mod/vape guru. The guy working there was patient with me and I ended up getting the black copper stingray mod. Also the coil builder guy who is actually a really cool dude also built me a new coil setup for my tobh atty and helped me choose new flavors. I ended up getting lychee and watermelon icey. They're both excellent flavors and definitely addicted to them. read more

Last night (03/07/14) was my first visit to Delco Vapes. Pretty cool vape shop. Lenny helped me pick out a new tank for my eGo and right out of the box it started to leak. We tried new a new coil and it was ok at first then started to leak again on the ride home. I called and left a message that it was leaking again and that I would be stopping by today to exchange. Chris was there today. I explained what happened and he said pick out what you like, Lenny already informed him. That's customer service!! Update. As you can see from my original review, I have been a customer at this store since April 2014. I've spent well over $1000+ buying various hardware from mechanical mods early on to a number of electronic devices from iTaste VV and V2 to the iPV5 device that I exchanged a CreBox c75 for which I purchased last Friday. The CreBox was purchased because the Subox Mini, that I purchased from this same store in 2015, stopped working and I needed a replacement. When I returned home on Friday, I charged the CreBox overnight. In the morning, it had only half a charge. I thought that was weird but I thought maybe I didn't have the USB seated properly so I charged it the next night overnight. I awoke to an almost full charge. Ok, so I think maybe it's the USB cord (even though it works fine with everything else). I decided to wait until Monday to try charging at work with a different USB. Same thing. So here it is, Tuesday, and I decide that I'll take it back and exchange it for a device of equal or greater value. So I get to the store and the young bubbly lady who talked to me for a good 20 minutes on Friday greets me and says "how can I help you?" I said, "I'm here to exchange the CreBox that I bought here on Friday. There is something wrong with the USB and it won't charge fully I've..." Like a robot, she sweetly cuts me off with, "I'm so sorry to hear that. We only do exchanges for non working screens." So I thought I'd heard her incorrectly because, like I said, I was just in there FRIDAY. So I said, "No, don't you remember, Friday.... We talked. You even had me..." (I was going to say "make sure I got an email AND printed receipt in case I needed to return the device") but she deftly cut me off again, very politely stating "I'm sorry sir, I know it sucks but we can't take devices back for USB problems because, truth is, the USB on ALL of the devices WILL fail in time and you'd just be bringing back device after device." So I'm incredulous at this point and I ask her, "Does Lenny still work here?" Lenny, after all, knows me well because I was the second customer he had when they first opened this location. So she informed me that he does not work there any longer. She then tells me that she "understands that I don't like battery devices" and that "batteries aren't for everyone" and that this is why she "doesn't recommend the cheapie" devices like the CreBox mod but that she'd "give me a break" and exchange it for a different device for me "this time only". What? Huh? While I do prefer devices that have removable batteries and pass through charging, I've had a number of devices with removable batteries. As a matter of fact, I have purchased all but one of them from this very store prior to her employ. Why would you think that? Why would you lecture me to stay away from cheapie devices after selling me, very sweetly of course, one that you consider to fall in this category less than a week ago? So, in the end, she DID let me exchange the device. But that's not the point... The point is this. Brick and mortar vape shops don't make much profit from their device sales. They make their money from e-juice sales because e-juice, especially when the store makes their own, is an incredibly high markup. The internet sells the very same hardware for at LEAST 50% off the brick and mortar price because they purchase at a higher volume or, in some cases, order directly from China based on pre paid sales. The ONLY reason I purchased so much hardware from this local store is to support LOCAL businesses. I spent EXTRA money to support my community and to see it flourish. For two years. Today, they just lost a customer as I will no longer be supporting this store. It's really a shame to say this and I understand that this young lady was only following "policy" but by handling business this way, you've guaranteed yourself the loss of my money. Customer service isn't just sweet talk. It's TRULY standing behind the merchandise that you sell. read more

I've been to many vape shops throughout the tri state area, and even in Florida. This takes the cake. I have a big bag of e liquids that I find repulsive after I purchase them or try them in the store and decide they are gross when I use them after a day. It just reinforces that Delco Vapes has the best product, and I really enjoy their juice flavors. I walked into the shop being a smoker, and pretty clueless about vapes, and now i'm a regular here! I haven't smoked in 9 months, have a great vape set up, and now know a little bit about vapes. I love the juices and love the product selection at Delco Vapes. The staff is not only extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but always seems to go above and beyond for me. Is the shop super fancy, no way. The shop is pretty basic and has a tasting bar and a great selection. I'll take a basic storefront with good product and great service any day over the competitors locally. read more
