They have no sense of urgency to treat anything, "missed" 1/3 of the whole lawn despite us calling it out several times to the owners. They ignore us completely when we reach out with our concerns and never communicate what they will do about the weed and the yard. But when it's time to pay they chase you down with several phone calls and emails per day.

He arrived on time for our first meeting, he's knowledgeable and provided information about services I needed. We discussed projects I inquired about doing in the future. I have every confidence that his plans for weed remediation and lawn improvement will be tackled in the most professional way. In fact, Joe offered long term solutions that will prevent me from wasting money and he did this without undue pressure to do it now. Afterwards I was sent an estimate in a timely fashion. I agreed and Joe showed up within the week. My yard was not well cared for last season and it's not small. The project was completed quickly. It's even better than I expected and exactly as we discussed! Can't wait to see his work as the weather warms up and things get growing!

AG was ready to work - they showed up and on the first day, my back yard was leveled! They worked hard and quickly. Even came on a Saturday! In 8 days it was done and what a transformation! Our dream back yard in just over a week:) Thanks to Joe, Andrew (site manager/Joe's brother) and to the whole crew. We couldn't be happier. Recommended! What they did: Removal of wire fencing on both sides of property, as well as general debris. Removal of large encroaching bush and clearing of vine covered areas including on utility wires, leveling ground with sand, laying flag stone in over 90% of property, installing 3 sidings of treated wooden fencing including the creation of a seamless gate leading to back alley, staining of all wood fencing, creating small garden nook, minor cement work and new drain was added.

Evan coordinated removing the sheds and rocks, building a dry-well to fix irrigation issues, installing a patio and sod and building a fence. There were also some permitting issues that required altering plans and delays due to terrible rain storms and they worked around all of these issues well. Over all it was a great experience. I'll be hiring them back for seasonal cleanups.

Evan trimmed them beautifully, and they look so nice in a new bed of mulch! That was a pretty small job, but it came out great! Also had a patio put in this summer and my lawn was torn up really bad by the bobcat and other machinery for pouring the concrete. I wanted some sod to get it back up to speed quickly and Evan came thru again! Got it all done in one day, and the sod looks great! He gave me good instructions on how to keep it going during the heatwave, regular watering in the AM and evening, but not at night. It's doing great so far and I'm very pleased with E&J Landscaping! Careful with this business...I spent $2400 on a small landscape project. Let me start by saying I…read moreneeded assistance with this type of project because I don't know very much about landscaping. I worked with Danielle who was great (only reason for 2 stars). The project consisted of 4 Rhododendron and 5 or 6 Cherry Laurel. Well one of the Rhododendron died and the Cherry Laure were infested with some type of white flying insects to the point of destruction. I called with the hope of resolving the situation and they were very responsive. Danielle acknowledged that the Cherry Laurels are prone to these white flies (maybe would have liked to have known that the first time) and suggested replacing with 2 Viburnum and 4 Cat Mint. Then I find out this replacement project will cost $1350 with no cost to replace the dead Rhododendron. At first I thought the total replacement price was going to be $675 which I thought was reasonable...but that was just the 50% down payment. I was going to back out of the project but did not want to deal with the insect infestation so I reluctantly moved forward. They completed the project and it looks kind of pathetic. They did not remove any weeds that were under the Laurels and they did not re-mulch the area. The plantings are sparse and very underwhelming. I could have done better myself. So after spending $3750 with the company, my suggestion is...do it yourself or shop around.
