3,200 some dollars later, 800.00+ in rental fees and my car clutch still does not shift right. I…read moretook the car back 4 times 1) when starting it would clunk-motor mounts not tightened 2) junk noises from underneath- left screwdriver in suspension. 3) clutch still not engaging/disengaging right 4) still not shifting right and the ESC light comes on by itself. My clutch would not always work just goes to the floor, won't go into gear, won't come out of gear. Steering wheel now not aligned with wheels. Took it to another mechanic he said that the clutch master cylinder had not been replaced and I paid for a new one. The new mechanic looked up the parts and found a clutch, flywheel and pressure plate set for $490.00 I was told from Wallace they were giving me a good deal and no markup because they were a thousand dollars each, the flywheel and the clutch. SO, they made over 1,500 in just those two parts alone. I was still paying for the car, had to pay off the loan trade it in as I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR. SO, in a matter of a couple weeks I paid the 3,200, 800.00 and then 2,500 to pay off the loan on top of the 4k as a down payment. I hope they had a good Christmas because I sure as heck did not. I used to trust this place 100% when Dad and Son ran it.********* I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS PLACE NOW. I DO NOT THINK ANY OF THE WALLACES DAD OR SON RUN THIS PLACE ANYMORE. INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NEVER TAKE ANYTHING THERE EVER AGAIN. I NEEDED MY CAR AS I AM A TEACHER WHO TEACHES SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN. I HAD TO TAKE SEVERAL DAYS OFF and then get a rental. I hope they are out of business soon, so they cannot do this to other people, IF they can rip off a teacher, they can rip off anyone.

Took my pickup to Dave for a large EVAP leak that other mechanics couldn't fix. Dave advised if he…read morecouldn't find the leak it would be free (no labor charge) and that in and of itself is a rare find. It only took Dave half a morning to find my issue all why testing all my other EVAP parts including my gas tank. The repair was done quickly and I can't be happier. Dave will be my go to in the future for every vehicle issue. Thanks Dave for being the far and few honest mechanics.

I took my car here for an engine code - bank 1 & 2 too lean. The car was running terrible, and it…read morewas very noticeable. David told me that the read out suggested replacing the fuel rail sensor and said he ordered it and it would be in on Monday. Monday comes and I hear nothing. I call Tuesday and he says he replaced the Fuel Pump and Fuel filter???? I wasn't notified prior to him deciding this is what was needed to fix the car. He never did order or replace the fuel rail sensor??? He never test drove the car following the repairs (you will see how I know this later in the story). On Wednesday he said it was ready; I went there and paid $430 for 2 parts (fuel pump and filter) and labor. I drove away thinking everything was fixed right? WRONG!!! Car drove like crap, hesitating, very obvious. I really didn't want to deal with him anymore, so I cut my losses and planned on taking it somewhere else. I get 10 miles away and I pull into a gas station to pump gas. I get to about $20 and fuel starts pouring out of the gas tank all over the ground. Something was not put together right on the fuel pump obviously. I called him right away and brought it back, even though I didn't want to, he needed to fix his mistake. I honestly don't think he replaced the O-ring or just left it off all together when he put the new fuel pump on. I just wanted my car fixed and off the property at this point. The next day I came back and got the car; he SAID he drove it to get gas in it and make sure the issue was fixed and it wasn't leaking anymore. If that was the case, he would have noticed that the car still ran like crap and the issue was not resolved. What a joke. I feel ripped off. This mechanic didn't communicate anything with me. When I paid the bill, I read the repair receipt for the first time and said wow a fuel filter and pump??? That's what fixed it??? I thought we were replacing the fuel rail sensor??? Heck no, it drives just as bad as it did when I brought it there. Ridiculous. Not happy, and I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!
