I've been using the Maytag Laundromat for several months while some changes are being made to the…read more laundry room in my house (delays, you know). It's been about 20 years since I've used a laundromat and that was a different one here in town. This Maytag place is 10,000 times better than that one or any other laundromat I've used in the past. For starters, it's clean, including the floors. The machines don't have detergent, etc on them from the last user. There are a lot of machines of many sizes, so you don't have to wait around for a washer or dryer, even on a busy day. The prices are reasonable. It's never going to be cheaper than doing your laundry at home, but some people just can't. This place won't break the bank, especially if you use common sense and use the right size washer. The change machines (there are more than one), have never been broken or empty. Even if they were, there are staff on hand, so you don't have to go running somewhere else looking for change. In the time I've been going there, I've never seen more than two machines out of order at the same time and when I go back the next week, those are fixed. They don't let stuff sit around not working. The wash cycles are done in about 30 minutes and the dryers are run about 30 to 36 minutes depending on the size and cost. You can feed more coins in for more time as long as you don't let it quit first. I've never had to do this, even with big comforters. The dryers are very good and get stuff dry, which is something I can't say about the previous laundromat I visited. Overall, it's a great place to get stuck doing laundry.

No issues with her but I got to my appt at least 10 ms early and got to listen to the owner and other workers bash someone they had interviewed to rent a chair. It was so much uncomfortable listening to the vitriol they spewed about this person. It lasted my entire appt. this is a conversation better had behind closed doors or at the very least off the salon floor. In addition someone's boyfriend/ husband came in and just hung out by the desk as well. So during the bashing of the potential employer they said " well we probably don't want her clients either " and I'm pretty sure they said something like " they are probably all teachers and moms" might not be their exact quote but it's on point. Well ladies you do want those clients as We are the client with disposable income to spend on ourselves like new hair styles and color. I won't go back. I don't want to sit in that environment and pay good hard earned money to hear such mean and negative comments. It makes me feel like they will probably talk about me too. High school is over and I don't want to play with mean girls anymore. I did love their stations and the Victorian like make up tables they use. But the cold atmosphere, no music, and mean girls plus one gathered st the desk the entire time turned me off for good. But hey " they probably don't want me anyway "

I noticed it as soon as I got to my car and returned to the salon. She said 'it's just the purple shampoo I used- don't freak out'. 4 days later- it's the same and I'm wearing a hat. It's embarrassing. I called the salon and no response. I have never had this color or challenge with a formula that I provided. I will not use this salon again; namely because they did not attend to my initial concern or fix the problem.
