Took out the only indoor basketball court around for another gym. There was already a CrossFit gym nearby.

Basketball court gone; therapy pool gone; swimming pool, spa and locker rooms closed with no reopening date stated other than probably 4 months; - all due to total mismanagement and greed. Del Webb would be so ashamed of a venture that was suppose to help people get back on their feet after illness turned into a Venice beach body building gym with little regard for active senior adults striving to keep themselves in shape with needed swimming, therapy and exercise. read more

They now won't let anyone in the area of cardio in session. All recumbent bikes in that area not in use and only 2 in front of where no cardio. Seriously they either need to fix this or get more recumbent bikes for those who can't use regular bike. They also either need to fix all the broken lockers or get new. They get enough money out of those who pay. The cardio employee is super rude as well. Needless to say maybe I will look into a new gym. read more

I was sad to have only learned about this place when I was getting ready to leave Kingman. It is super affordable and they have a lot of amenities. From the occasional exerciser to the healthy geriatrics and even the gym Buffs. They have a full free weight gym, aerobic machines, assisted resistance machines, racquetball courts basketball courts, an outdoor walking track, a heated pool and jacuzzi, and several classes are offered for fitness and Wellness. The early morning hours allowed me to exercise before work, and they're open until 8 p.m. but I'm not really an evening workout person. The center is attached to the hospital and it's part of their system. The locker rooms are really interesting with very spacious showers, and they even offer different size towels. It's no gym like I've ever been into. I was really impressed and wish I could have enjoyed it for a bit longer, I wish they had such centers in more places. read more

When I'm in Kingman for a few weeks, I like coming here. Although they close early, their welcoming atmosphere, and staff make for a great workout. Equipments are a little used up, but could see they keep them mechanically updated. read more

There are great options of this gym, especially for innovative ways of working out. However, it seems customer service is lacking. For example, lately they have few towels. You can only take one. When asked I was told that they are complimentary. Great! So when are you getting more towels? Only one is absurd for many people. Secondly, and more importantly, the pool is a hazard. Most days I am there, there are people frail and often using walkers. I have seen a child slip and fall. God help them if an older person breaks their hip because they are responsible. A worker told me that five people had fallen there in one day. Customer service is one thing. Safety is a huge other story. read more

Classes play music too load disturbing everyone working out in the gym. I've complained but it didn't help. I got different answers from different employees. I'm quitting this gym and going to Planet Fitness. read more

LOVE this place! It is the best for families! They r the only Gym in Kingman with a child care center AND many privileges for older children too!! There is a pool, raquetball courts, several different classes included free with your membership! And they have headphone plugins at most of the machines for TVs or SiriusXM radio! Let me start of by saying Kingman is a small town, so there are not a whole lot of options. That being said, this is a great place to workout! I have lived in small cities before and I have to say the gyms that are usually available are not as nice as this one is. I'm sure the fact that this place is connected to the local hospital has a lot to do with why it's a nice place. It's clean, they have a huge pool, and there are tons of choices on how you can get into good shape! They have and area for instructional classes such as yoga, they have an indoor basketball court, indoor racquetball courts, several elliptical machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, and a large area with free weights. And for all this, it's only like $40 dollars a month! Keep in mind it is a rehab center. So guy's if your looking for a gym to scope out the ladies, this is not really the place :) read more

I was visiting family in Kingman, Ariz., and asked for guest rates so that I could work out. The first visit was free, and I could pay for subsequent visits. Regular membership rates were around $30 a month, which was about the same back home. While my nephew was at his swim class, I took advantage of this gym. It was a great size, given the area's population. It was also part of Kingman Regional Medical Center, the community's hospital system. There were several stairclimbers, ellipticals, treadmills, weightlifting stations, etc., which were all clean and well-maintained. There were also separate rooms for various activities and group exercises. There were plenty of fresh towels and sanitizing wipes available. I saw plenty of staff and trainers, but I ended up asking a nearby member to help me adjust the leg press machine since I could not reach it! The restrooms appeared to be clean and well-kept as well. My only complaint was that the mats were filthy as I needed to wipe it down with several sanitizing wipes. I would have loved to attend this gym more so that I could be acclimated to exercising at 3,333 feet above sea level! read more

I visit Kingman once a year and I always try to get to the Wellness center a few times during my visit. The facility, not surprisingly, is excellent. Gyms associated with medical facilities usually have a professional atmosphere and have great equipment. This one is no exception. The Center is easy to find since it's on the campus of the medical center, which is right off of the highway. read more

I was very upset with this place today. We went to watch our grandchildren at a swim meet and were met wit a locked door to the handicap entrance . They had the door to the walk through open (which was right beside it) but I had to push my husband back down the side walk out into the parking lot and around to bring him inside to watch the swim met. The explanation for the locked door was that the kids at the met cause a problem. How is having the ramp door opened going to cause a problem. I think the problem is that someone is trying so hard to make a problem for the kids that they are forgetting that the facility is there to serve the handicap and the community. They need someone with a little inteligence to start making decisions instead of someone that is trying to aggrevate people read more

If you sign a month to month contract, then tell them you want to opt out, they continue to bill you. Then they tell you they have no record of you wanting to stop your membership. Then the month you didn't pay for because you cancelled your membership? Well they can't cancel your membership until you pay that. Also, the person you talked to last month was wrong, they can't stop your membership until after that month is paid (did we mention the late fee, and the fee because your credit card didn't work because we entered the wrong info), and you have to personally drive here and sign paperwork. Then we will cancel your membership. Oh and that special where it was month to month? That is a joke, you will have to pay at least 30 more days. read more
