Today was not so different than most days in this little town that is also known as "Little Athens" the downtown area is usually busy with visitors and locals alike walking, shopping or working it doesn't really matter if it's a weekday or the weekend. Today as I approached the corner of 17/92 and Georgia Avenue there was a new side walk sign I never notice before advertising Florida Victorian Architectural Antiques. Even though I knew I couldn't spend the time required to throughly check out this new curiosity I just discovered I had to at least take a peek. As I walked through the door I immediately knew I was only going to be able to touch the surface of this expansive space, exploring this treasure trove would require much more time than I had allowed today. As I made my way through the first two elongated rooms I ran into one of the owners who immediately greeted me and gave me a brief overview of the layout. As you exit the second room you find yourself inside Caffe DaVinic a few more steps you're in a huge courtyard surrounding an outdoor bar turn left and exit the courtyard and you find yourself in the backyard of large yellow house with wooden stairs leading to the second floor now I'm feeling like I'm on a scavenger hunt as you enter the door on the left at the top of the stairs you're suddenly inside a coffee bar turn to your right there's a lounge area with a juice bar. I tell you its like a maze and as accidental as the layout maybe it's pretty cool, the rest of the second floor of this yellow house is occupied with rooms filled with an array of art, sculptures and trinkets. My first walk through is unlike any I've experienced in the area, what I first thought was a simple antique store turns out to be a bundle of uniqueness. I'm definitely coming back.

Everyone on staff there was super helpful and Mark walked us around showing us many things. We will be sourcing many items for our remodel from them. But as they recommended we will need to come back a few times - w measurements - happy to do so!

First time visiting this store. It is conveniently located right off Volusia avenue in Orange City…read more The store has been open now two years. The store is huge and jam packed full of good furniture, home decor, collectables, jewelry, and more; so much so that a tall guy like me has a hard time getting around without bumping my head on something hanging from above. There is also a warehouse next door to the main building but it is closed until Thursdays, I guess to minimize the amount of staff working on slower days. Something to note that this store has a fantastic selection of stained glass sheets in a variety of sizes for sale. They also have a stained glass workshop in the back, very cool. Plus the owner makes stained glass wind chimes and other items that are here for sale. Although many of the items here are very nice and an excellent condition, we felt that everything is just too expensive. Even some of the items you consider 'Thrifty' seemed overpriced. Regardless, if you're looking for a unique piece of furniture, lamp, or dining room set they just might have it. I highly recommend checking them out if you have never been here before because they do have a lot of great stuff, but honestly I can't see myself going back here on the regular just because of the pricing.
