Absolutely outstanding!!!…read more At our recent impromptu couchon de lait, we enjoyed succulent pork, perfectly seasoned shrimp with grits, irresistible boudin balls, extraordinary charcuterie trays, elegantly displayed with all the "fixins and trimmins". We entertain frequently, and have used many local caterers, and count City Pork among the very BEST! City Pork was responsive, efficient, professional, but most of all delivered an over-the-top delicious menu, only surpassed by their conscientious, professional, experienced staff, which accompanied our buffet. We highly recommend without hesitation, and cannot wait for our next party.

When I saw someone walk by with a bowl of jambalaya, I asked where it was from and if it was spicy. The man told me no and pointed me in the direction of the blue truck. When I got to the window, I asked if the jambalaya was spicy, the man said "no, It is full of spice but not spicy, it is family friendly." I said "I am going to trust you cause I don't do spicy. I'm like the worst Indonesian person ever." We took our boat of jambalaya back to our booth and my husband and I dug in. Three bites in, he says "I'm surprised you're eating this, it's pretty spicy." As I wipe the sweat (possibly tears) from under my eyes, I say "I don't care, it's that good. But I don't know how kids can eat this. Family friendly is a lie!" The End. Would I dine or dash? Definitely dine, but with a large cup of ice cold milk. (You guys should offer milk)

Boudreaux's is a large banquet facility located on Government Street near downtown Baton Rouge…read more Recently I attended a luncheon held here. I didn't have anything to do with the luncheon other than attending, so this a review of the service and facility as an attendee. As you enter there are two large areas with couches and chairs. There is a large ball room to the right, which for this event, was set for 200 people. The staff were professional and attentive. For this event we had a boneless pork chop, sweet potatoes and green beans. The food was good considering all 200 people were served at the same time. This venue is a nice space. There is a parking lot outside, but it looks like the facility will hold more people than the lot. In addition to being a nice banquet hall, I would imagine this would be a good venue for a wedding reception.

They adapted, several times, to the threat and reality of rain on the patio, and the installation art of the art gallery. It all came out just like we imagined, from the asparagus spears, to the crawfish pistolettes, to the alligator bites and the delicious way they served up my dad's deer sausage. And the displays were beautiful, as well as tasty. Nick knows how to set up- when it turned out that the live music inside couldn't be heard outside, Nick intuitively plugged in his ipod to speakers we had for later on in the night & set the perfect patio wedding mood with Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, etc so both inside & outside folks were relaxing with tunes. People are still talking about how delicious all the food was. Complete professional service done with the personal touch of keeping us all happy. Truly cannot recommend Nick and his quality work enough.
