First visit to this store. I don't typically get my dog supplies from the big box stores, but my…read moreregular place didn't have what I needed, so gave it a whirl. I was looking for dog ramps to use with the Jeep, capable of handling a 100lb Rottweiler adapting to three legs. Needed to be wide, sturdy, long enough to not be a really steep angle, and light enough that I can set up, dismantle and store in the backseat without too much difficulty. They had one, but not quite the right size. Also needed an inflatable collar (looks like a big doughnut), to keep him from licking at the incision, but didn't want the old Elizabethan (aka lampshade) type that has dogs bashing walls, spilling water bowls, and can't see where they're going and looking ridiculously pathetic the whole time. Considered raised bowls too, but decided we didn't need that as a long term purchase and I could just put the bowl on a box for now if needed (turns out he's doing fine with bowls on the floor). I couldn't find the inflatable collars, but a staff member came to ask if I needed help. He bumped this review up to 4 stars. :) He guided me back to where I had been (how did I miss them?!) and found Argo's size. Phew! He said I could return it if it wasn't the right fit. That was really good to know because it wasn't a bargain at $34.99. Though it is bigger, in that it extends farther out from the head than others I had looked at. In the end I didn't get the ramp. Ordered a different one online on sale and managed to get free shipping, which helped when tacking on expedited shipping. Went to checkout and the young lady asked if I was interested in donating some cat food to a local shelter (NHSPCA- actually where we adopted Argo from almost 6 years ago) as they just took in 200 cats and kittens and needed extra food. Yikes! She had sample cans at slightly reduced prices, from 37 cents to 67 cents each). I bought one of everything and then added a small donation to PetSmart charities on the bill as well. PetSmart offers training classes, though I've never used their services. I've come across people who have. Some were pleased and others not. It's a small space, with several dogs and their people packed in for each session. Too claustrophobic for me, and for some dogs, those close quarters can be really stressful. Hard to teach things like come on recall from a distance. I'm not sure how much experience the trainers have either, to address issues that might come up outside of the prescribed "curriculum". Probably for an introduction to basic manners and obedience it can be helpful, particularly for new dog owners. Some training is far preferable to none at all.

Today I had the best experience having my dog, Myah, groomed by Alicia. Alicia truly cared for my…read moredog and provided the best grooming we have ever had with our husky. I have been to many groomers the 11 years I have had her and Alicia is by far the best. Thank you Alicia! Kristin

Absolute best sitters ever!!! Kim and crew care for my 4 fur babies and I wouldn't trust anyone…read moreelse.... I'd had a bad experience with previous sitters so finding a caring, considerate and professional sitter was a must for me and my tribe... and I did.

Kim kept canceling the 1 orientation appointment with us and wanting to reschedule it at the last…read moreminute not once but twice! " I know this is inconvenient but..." - never an " I'm sorry..." . No remorse. All of this just days before our vacation when we were counting on this service. All because she had an offer for dog walking. at the same time of our 30 minute orientation appointment. we couldn't believe a business owner would decide hmmmm should I cancel the appointment with the client who is giving me several days of business next week or should I tell this other person that I can't walk your dog at that time but I can come 30 minutes later...? LOL. To do that once is bad enough. To do it again 3 days later - the day before the rescheduled appointment __ is just laughably bad business. We were fed up and canceled her. i can't comment on what anyone who works for her is like because we only dealt with Kim even though she wouldn't be doing the actual pet sitting. She's unreliable, rude and unprofessional and hides behind email replies even when you say please call me. INSTEAD, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING The ROVER app to find a local verified RELIABLE pet caregiver to come to your home or to take in your pet while you're at work or on vacation.. we're VERY happy with the pet professional we found on ROVER who is also local and are delighted to give them out repeat business. A silver lining after the nightmare that was Kim. when I explained why we were canceling her services she just deleted our account instead of emailing and apologizing. LOL That should telll you everything you need to know.
