Unfortunately several of the things that you could once do are no longer available for use (zipline, rock climbing wall, etc), at least until the inspector can come by and look at the currently closed facilities to ensure safety. The park itself has lazer tag, go karts, putt putt, and smaller carnival type games.

I assume there is some more action during business hours as it wasn't the most happening place in the evening. There are a variety of trails and other facilities, as well as a disc golf course. Maps suggest that a road leads to another forest park, but the road does become unpaved dirt and gravel before the point of crossing under the main highway. The water fountains did not work for me. It is a free park with some interesting features and a variety of possible uses.

Sadly a storm took out the electricity to the toy house and he isn't permitted to fix it because the electric is connected to the house and the town said he has to upgrade all the electric in the house, which he and his wife don't have the means for right now. When he had electricity a lot of the toys would move and contraptions on the property had lights and water on some of them. The toys stretch back to the 1940s. Definitely a trip down memory lane. The gentleman who owns it is very nice and came out to give us a tour and pointed out the many puns related to the displays. The little general store his grandparents ran back in the early half of the 1900s is still standing and full of interesting memorabilia and artifacts. It's donations only, no cost, but the man and his wife can use the help. If you're not a fan of weird junk art and old toys, you probably wouldn't like it. We spent about 45 minutes there.

Taking up two city blocks, the Rotary Playground has two separate playgrounds, a splashpad (closed…read morefor the season), a big open space and a restrooms building. Street parking surrounds on three sides. The first playground is massive with a huge wooden frame and lots of space for running, climbing and multiple slides. It is entirely surrounded by a low fence with a single entrance/exit. Awesome for keeping the little ones from possibly wandering off. The splashpad is also fenced in and includes a few benches for the adults to hang out. It is opened during the season (May to October?) and is closed now. Third playground has swings and a tall slide and some other climbing equipment. It is on a mulch base that is ideal for the little ones who do tend to fall down a lot. It was awesome to hold the products in hand without the guess work that goes along with online shopping. Absolute great find for me as a fisherman!! This is not Cabelas! This is not Bass Pro!
