Long time staple of Kentucky kingdom. At the old six flags theme park it had a Batman theme and was called the "penguin" I believe after the famed Batman villain. Pretty cool group tube ride that takes you over small waterfall bumps and falling water. Not too many bid drops so you won't necessarily get drenched but you will get wet. Overall I really like this ride. It's a nice combo on a hot day of you want to cool off and don't want to suit up and head to hurricane bay. I'm glad this ride was resurrected for when Kentucky kingdom reopened a few years ago.

Being a water attraction this ride is naturally on the hurricane bay side directly behind the giant wave pool. Unique in that it's the only non body/tube slide in that portion of the park. It is more like a normal attraction in which you get wet. Pretty fun ride that usually does not have too bad of a line. It's nothing earth shattering but never the less it is a fun and serviceable ride that offers minor thrills and a chance to get some water fun in the sun.

But Wind Chaser isn't content with chasing breezes - it whips its riders around first with hangtime in a barrel roll after the first drop, then with countless moments of airtime. Isn't too rough on the body for the older folks and always is a pretty good time. Located in the very back of the park on the hurricane bay side this coaster is one of the newer ones compared to the originals from the old park. Overall it's a pretty fun ride.

Smallish but creative area that's basically a very creative splash pad for the toddlers who may not be able to swim or aren't quite ready for the action in the other nearby water adventures in the park. Over the years I've taken my little ones here a few times and usually the giant swan draws them in. They will run around and play for a bit and have a good time. Overall, very nice addition to the water attractions in the theme park and helps include all ages and sizes in the fun times at the park.

Really fun ride that along with cyclos is the biggest non roller coaster thrill ride in the park. Located towards the back half of the park next to the gift shop where the 5d cinema exits out to. This ride puts you on individual seats and takes you for spins until you get completely vertical. Overall very fun ride that me and my kiddos like to make sure we hit everytime we visit the park.

An added bonus not many know about is you can take the bridge to an island in the middle of the river that is a regular Eden. Awesome spot to Get Your Nerd On…read more Most Louisvillians know the city owes its early existence to the river and the 24-foot drop it takes through the falls, which long forced traffic delays along the waterway. But I don't think many have ever bothered to come see the two massive locks now operating that have made river navigation nearly trivial. A couple years ago, a state-of-the-art $430 million waterfront project was completed here, with a public outdoor viewing area, which remains open during daylight hours much of the year. From the platform, you can watch the locks operate (as long as you happen to be here when a barge goes through), all for the low low price of zero dollars plus the possibility of a sunburn. Sure, it's not exactly Thunder Over Louisville, but each of the two 1200-foot locks has room for a 15-barge tow, which is the equivalent of 1050 semi trucks. And McAlpine was designated a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Civil Engineers. Like I said, Nerd Gold.
