I would recommend anyone who needs a doctor to consider Dedication Health. My husband has had many medical issues and multiple hospital stays. With this comes the unfortunate knowledge that there is no one to coordinate your care, assess test results, and give you the best information for making medical decisions. Each specialist sees things through the eyes of their specialty. People don't fit into specialty boxes, they need a doctor to function like a strategist; take in all the test results, medical opinions, and condition of the patient then plan the best course of treatment for that individual. That is what Dr. Sheridan had done for us. He answers and returns our calls, consults with other doctors on our behalf, and has offered excellent medical advice. Membership fees. This doctors office sees patients with and without insurance. After 2 years as a member, I feel the membership cost is well worth it for the savings and benefits. They get me in quickly when I need an appointment, and my doctor actually listens to me and addresses my concerns. I appreciate the focus on preventative medicine as well as disease management. If you are in perfect health and do not need to visit a doctor for more than an annual checkup, concierge medicine may not be for you. First, I will say that I normally do not give reviews -- this is only the second one I remember giving over the years. But, I have been going to Dr. Stern since July, 2018. He had provided me with excellent, professional service and care, so this is a review I felt was worth my time and effort to give. Dr. stern is really the best Doctor I have been to in my 56 years. He is an internal medicine doctor who deals with my issues in an effective and professional manner. He takes his time with me each visit and he listens to my concerns. He explains the treatment and medication plans to me and is just a very nice person. I've been a patient at Dedication Health for over 2 years. The doctors (Dr. Croghan is mine) and staff's attention to detail and care is second to none. I feel listed to and never rushed. It's refreshing to feel like they are putting *my* needs and concerns first. I have never had to wait more than a few hours when scheduling an appointment and am seen right away when I arrive. All that said, where this office sets itself apart from other doctors in the area is the strong focus on "preventive medicine" to keep you healthy, rather than the traditional care model where they wait for you to get sick. The best medical decision I have ever made is choosing Dedication Health and Dr. Candocia as my primary physician. Dr. Candocia takes a personal interest in my health and is always willing to send whatever time necessary for my health care. He is the first physician that has ever acted as a quarterback for my health care. I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Croghan as my primary care physician since December of 2018. After moving to Illinois a year prior, I had been searching for a doctor who I felt I could trust and build a great relationship with. I was so lucky to have found him. In my opinion he is the benchmark for a "concierge" doctor. Love this doctor office. This is my first experience with concierge-style medicine and wish I would have heard of it sooner. My doctors is available is available 24/7 and I'm fond of all the staff. My daughter and I are fairly new to the practice, but have so far always had a great experience.
