Great customer service! Bad to the bone paint job to be! Haven't took truck in yet but from what I've seen yep bad to the bone!

I had my car three months when someone backed into it in a store parking lot. I found Dedicated online and due to all of the reviews I took my car there for repair. I gave them my car on November 11. They kept it for 35 days. I go to pick it up on December 16 and before I could even look it over Danny was only worried about me signing the insurance check and writing a Google review. He wanted me to do the Google review as I was standing there in front of him. I told him I would later. I walk out to look at my car and before I could even look it over he was out the door and closed up and gone. The body repair and paint looked fine, but I noticed the emblems that go on the back of the car were not on it. I got in it and when I put it in reverse there was a big blur spot on my backup camera. I contacted him by text the next morning. He said he would get the emblems and to bring my car in, that the smudge on my camera was likely buffing compound. Finally, on January 12 they put the emblems on and tried to buff the camera, but it did not help. They asked me to bring it back on a day that Danny was there, that he could probably make it clear. I go back at the specific time they gave me and Danny was not there as he was supposed to be and another worker tried again to buff it out. It still did not work. The worker tells me that it cannot be buffed out, they will have to get a new camera. I waited a week and on January 19 contacted him to see if the camera was in. He said he would check and get back to me. He never contacted me and on January 28 I asked again. He said still no camera. I asked again a few days later and he never bothered to answer me. On February 5 I asked him to please let me know and he told me I could bring it the next week and I told him I would be there on Monday the 9th. He told me he would work towards that, but they were behind and trying to catch up. Never a thought to the fact that I had been patient about them having my car for 35 days and was still trying to have my car repaired to the original condition for almost 3 months. It was agreed I would bring my car in on February 9 at 8:30. I get there and he asks if I am just dropping the car off because they do not have the camera yet and are hoping to get it by around noon. The lady in the office called to check on it while I was standing there and she told them on the phone that they had ordered it the week prior. They originally told me they were ordering it on January 12. This was three weeks to the day later. He never even bothered to order it until I kept asking about it. I suspect he hoped I would give up on it and they would not have to replace it. They damaged my camera while doing body repair and he did not want to make it right, but I was not giving up. It was a car less than 6 months old. So, I finally went back that afternoon at 3 and a nice older man was there to install it and it took less than 10 minutes for him to do. After 90 days my car was finally back to its original condition. This place did not make it easy or simple. The workers there I dealt with were fine. The owner, Danny, just did not want to own up to their mistake. It is interesting to note that after all that time and stress of trying to get him to repair my car he did not ask me to leave a review again for obvious reasons. This is an update. My husband finally picked up the car on Sat March 1st after 5 1/2 months. Mr Wheeler was paid over $7200 by Grange Insurance and $1200 by us. we now have a bill over $13,000 (prob closer to $15k) to fix the damage done by Mr Wheeler and to repair the car correctly. The car was soaking wet when my husband picked it up, and he did look it over quickly. He was jovial because he wanted to get the heck out of there. Under no circumstances were we going to allow Mr. Wheeler to keep our car any longer even if it meant we had to tow it back to NC. As soon as my husband got home we noticed defects in the paint. On Monday I bought coolant for the AC, which was now blowing hot air, and was unable to add it because my hood cable was frayed and severed on the inside (Mr Wheeler tried to blame this on my husband). We took it to a local body shop who immediately pointed out defects in paint and missing pieces and seals around the windshield along with improperly aligned and installed headlights.Eventually they would discover missing safety equipment, parts not replaced, mismatched pats, incorrect parts, and very substandard work overall. even emblems put back on incorrectly over old adhesive. Our car went from being a 3.7 liter to a 73. There was still masking tape on the doors and I could go on and on. I basically am left with a worthless and potentially unsafe car, and my insurance company will not help. read more

Dedicated Auto Body & Paint (Dedicated Auto Body and Paint) review - I'm not one to normally leave a review, but considering my experience, I wanted to share. If you want to stay informed on your vehicle while in Dedicated Auto Body and Paint possession, you must call. They will not update you without initiation. They had my car over the estimated 3-4 weeks (verbal estimation made by owner, Danny), and during the numerous times I asked Danny for an update, he wishy washed around without giving me any solid time frame. I was initially told by my insurance company that my rental would be covered for 4 weeks, so according to his time estimate (3-4 weeks), I thought this would be sufficient. However, I believe the only reason my car was finished, even being a week late (5th week), is because I was pressuring the owner (Danny) so much. On a positive note about this experience, Danny did attempt to make it right by giving me a small discount. Upon picking my vehicle up, I made a mistake and didn't inspect the job, but I later noticed that there was overspray (picture attached). I took a picture and sent to Danny, he said it would wash off with Windex. When I got home, I tried Windex, and it didn't wash off. When I couldn't get it off, his employee tried cleaning it, and he come to the conclusion that it needed repainted. So, then I had to schedule another day to be without my car, and also make arrangements for someone to transport me to and from work, so they could repaint their mistake. Later on that day, after no update from the owner, I call to find out that my car is fixed. I go to pick my car up, and after inspecting the paint job, I'm happy with the paint... finally. Transaction complete! At that point, I was thinking that my experience with Dedicated Auto Body and Paint had come to an end. I get in my car to head to work the next day, and notice a fingered black smear on my passenger leather seat (picture attached). I didn't notice it the day before, when I picked my car up, because I laid my jacket on top of it when getting inside. I told Danny and sent him a picture. I was afraid to touch it, afraid of making it worse, and it being my problem, so one of his employees ended up cleaning the seat. This had so many opportunities to be a good experience, but failed miserably. Also, in the end, an I messed up, I'm sorry from the owner would have went a long way. In conclusion, my car is fixed, but I've been exhausted by the whole process having to push so much. DO NOT send your vehicles to have work done at Dedicated Auto Body and Paint. They had my vehicle for 2 months after my driver side was smashed in by a drunk driver. During those 2 months the shop did not reach out to me once. When I finally decided to text and ask when my ride would be near completion, Danny, the owner of the shop, told me it would be ready next day and asked me 3 different times if I had the cash in hand. When I showed up the next day, he immediately took my payment and handed me my keys without even walking me around the vehicle. I've never had my car in a shop so I don't know protocol, maybe this was normal. I had to make 2 more trips back to the shop because my car didn't have AC and they left my headlights unplugged. Danny tells me it's probably been leaking freon and needs recharged. Turns out my ambient temp sensor is unplugged and still does not work. He stated that his shop wouldn't have gotten close to that sensor, even though it is literally attached to my bumper. Which I paid to have overhauled and repaired, admitting he did not do the bumper work I paid him for. Looking at my vehicle there is still OBVIOUS damage to the body and parts that were still scratched up. My door still does not shut properly, was beaten with a hammer and is in worse condition than before getting hit. When I brought this to Danny's attention he advised me instead of replacing both of my doors like I was billed for, he just repaired them, probably with a bunch of bondo and paint. When asked why he didn't replace them, he said the ones he bought came in looking worse than mine, so he repaired them instead and pocketed the rest. I was billed for an alignment as well and I cannot drive without my steering wheel being at a 30° angle. I asked Danny about all of this and how he planned to justify it, he offered to pull 2 other beat up doors from a car on his lot to replace mine. All of this was over a 2 month period with no contact and no prior authorization to repair instead of replace anything. He also says that my vehicle had "minimal damage" however it cost over $7,000 and took 2 months to repair. Even if this post keeps 1 person from going to that crooked shop, it'll all be worth it. I'm already working with the BBB and Attorney General to have this resolved since Danny doesn't want to make things right. Thanks for reading and please make your friends aware!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO DEDICATED AUTO!!! EDIT : Danny also offered me to come back in and leave my car longer to have the chrome belt on the door replaced, and offered to send it "back" to the alignment shop as well.. I refused as I do not want him or his shop near my vehicle. I'm sure he will respond to this and say that he offered to fix my car in "good faith" but that consisted of using 2 doors from a car already on his lot. I'm sure he will also mention that I brought up my speaker not working, which according to him did not happen in the accident, which does not matter since I paid for a replacement door anyways. read more

I don't think it's possible to find a better auto shop than dedicated. They're honest, reliable, knowledgable, and have outstanding customer service/ communication. When Danny found out that I was having to pay partly for a rental and that the vehicle needing repair was the only one we had that could fit a carseat for my son he went out of his way to make sure I got my car back as quickly as possible. In my experience with other shops the attitude is 'yeah, well you got in an accident and repairs take time', but that's not the attitude at Dedicated. Danny and his guys really care about making the process of getting your car back on the road easy, quick and with as little frustration as possible. I had a car-smashing accident outside of Charleston, WV last week. My car was towed to Dedicated Auto Body, where the manager, Danny, lived up to the company's name. Over a number of days, he worked with me to produce a repair invoice that would save my beloved BMW. Sadly, due to the terms of my insurance policy, it just wasn't possible, but I was very much impressed with Danny's diligence and kindness. I highly recommend this business. They were super fast and efficient, and even worked with my insurance company to get a lower deductible than I was originally told. I had a pretty huge problem when I called Dedicated after receiving a reject sticker from another car garage. The manager of that garage recommended Dedicated Auto and gave me Danny Wheeler's card. I called and he answered and spoke with me concering what my problem with my car was - now it was a Saturday and he was closed. However he went beyond the call of duty and let me come in and drop off my car. I didn't have to miss any work and I got my car back in no time. He even kept up with me to tell me what I needed to get my car back on the road. I would highly recommend Mr. Wheeler and his team to anyone that needed work on thier car. Shoot after he fixed my car he even went next door and got my car in for an inspecton and when I got there he stayed right with me until my car finally received the sticker that I had set out to get.
