Now I'm feeling very anxious and I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to convey this to her in our next meeting. I see that she has a lot going on and she may not be the best attorney for me at the moment. FRIDAY COMES And she reschedules AGAIN to Monday. In this message, she says if I cannot make this appointment, please let her know. Or I will be charged $300. now I'm very uneasy, so I go ahead and tell the paralegal very nicely (what I wanted to say in person) that I will possibly be using them in the future but right now is not a good time. If I could have back the money I sent since no paperwork was drawn up or signed to retain her as a lawyer due to the circumstances. SHE REPLIES NO REFUNDS. My experience prior to meeting Ms. Vance was at best a controlled demolition of my paternal rights, coupled with further costly court interventions that could have been avoided with an aggressive legal advocacy.
