I first…read morefound Katy under Charizma Photography, and she returned my voicemail regarding a quiet courthouse wedding within hours (unlike days or never, like two others I tried). Katy assured me that she has shot hundreds of weddings, was married at the courthouse herself, and that we could easily get some beautiful photos at a non-wedding craziness rate. She was super personable on the phone and invited us to come by her studio to talk in person and see some of her work, which we did. We agreed on an hour for $300, including full digital rights, and she offered us an additional hour for $150, which we took her up on. Katy also volunteered that since her partner Tim was available, he would come along too to help with lighting and such. The day of, they came to our house as planned, followed us to the courthouse, and took us around town to some pre-selected spots (we asked for urban/industrial). They even had the perfect spot picked out to photograph the now-husband's car, on top of the Best Western's parking garage. Katy and Tim were both very laid back and fun to be around, but had tons of cameras and lighting equipment that they clearly knew how to use. They were also great at helping us pose in flattering ways, even when it seemed counter-intuitive (no dead hands allowed, chin down, kick a foot out, that kind of thing). When I asked, Katy told me that the photos would be available in 2-3 weeks (shorter than usual for a wedding, since this was more like an engagement shoot). Well, just 4 days after our wedding, the photos have arrived and I am BLOWN AWAY. Words cannot describe how incredible these pictures are. I am beyond thrilled to have such beautiful mementos of our day to share. I want to make an album, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be six inches thick to include every single photo, because they are all just that good. Seriously, this is far beyond the "decent snapshots" I told Katy I was after. We look relaxed, happy, and flattering, and I cannot wait to share the photos with everyone I know. If it's not already crystal clear, I would give Studio 708 a thousand stars if I could. If you need any kind of photography, give them a call. I promise it will be amazing!!!!

Took my 1 yr old grandson there for photos, she was impatient, had no record of our appt though I…read morehad pd sitting fee,2 wks before, By time she found her deposit info, she rushed us cause it was 8 min past our appt, then had weird backgrounds, as we wanted basic white, blue, was not quick to take cute expressuons, bad framing, cut off his head on several pictures. She offered no suggestions on setting him in interesting poses. We chose 7 poses, only got CD w pics which she would not clean up, charged $600 for no printed pics. I got my senior photos done here a few years ago and I STILL get compliments on the photos what were taken! Throughout the session, she was able to capture dance photos as well as classier photos. There wasn't a single moment where I felt uncomfortable or awkward, she was able to make my mom and I feel extremely welcomed within her space. Communication with Nic was a breeze as he is great about staying on top of emails and had our pictures back to us very promptly. She is a genuine, excited person who made us both just feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. Throughout the day Audre was able to guide us and keep eveyrthing moving. From wrangling my family of 80 people to capturing all of the little moments she was amazing. The two things everyone said was "She was so efficient!" and "She was everywhere!" So clearly everyone else loved her too. And again, we can't say enough about the pictures. We wanted pictures that would show the relationships and love throughout the day and she delivered. Recently she not only photographed my wedding, but found us a new venue after ours cancelled 25 days before our wedding.
