I had a death in my family recently. I knew I wanted to send flowers or a plant to the funeral home for support. I wasn't sure which florist shop I should use so I checked on Yelp. After searching on their website, I liked what Debbie's Bloomers had to offer so I went with them. Their site looked great and it was easy to use. I'm really glad that I chose them. I had some questions on what to order so I called them. The lady on the phone was helpful and kind...on Valentine's Day nonetheless! I decided to order a plant that could be taken home. I love flowers but they usually die too soon. The plant will hopefully last longer than flowers. It came in a beautiful white glass pot, too. Debbie's Bloomers has been around for years and it shows. Their staff is nice and professional. I would definitely order from them again, for a birthday, a special occasion. Another thing that I appreciated is that an email was sent to me when the plant was delivered. I asked if it could be delivered before 4 pm. It was delivered hours before that time. I ordered and paid for 4 roses in a bouquet to represent 4 sisters (this was explained and also written on the card - "a rose for each sister"). They delivered a 3 rose bouquet. I was crushed when my best friend sent me a pic of the bouquet. It was a crappy bouquet as well. Not nearly as pretty as the sample pic online. I called and spoke to a very nice young lady. She promised to fix the error and re-deliver the correct bouquet. My friend sent me a new pic. The bouquet was so much prettier and had 4 roses. If only that's what had been delivered the first time. A grieving sister doesn't need the headache of multiple deliveries. I'd give 1 star for the first bouquet snd 5 stars for the second bouquet but 3 stars for a pain in the butt, disappointing experience. read more

Terrible service. I went in person, described exactly what I wanted . I spoke with worker/Irma. I wanted orange carnations w black and orange ribbons. El Paso HIgh colors. She said "oh we can spray the flowers black " i showed her a photo of what I wanted, and sent an image to them via there email address that she gave me. She quoted me $15. She told me to call it in to pay for it. I called the day before and again spoke to Irma. She said she really. Didn't know if the email went through but she remembered speaking to me. She took down my info and charged me $27. I told her I would be by on Friday by 10am. I went Fridays 1050 am and they said they did not know what I was talking about. There was no order. Naturally I was upset. I was unable to wait for them to make it so they said they would deliver it. I did get it but was very disappointed by the result. I could have bought flowers from Albertsons and done a better job. Never will I return. I advice all to go else where. read more

I ordered a birthday arrangement to be delivered to my mom. I live in the DFW area and she lives in El Paso. I did my order online which was super easy. I loved being able to add a handwritten card. I was admittedly apprehensive when ordering this arrangement. It was unconventional - not just flowers in a vase, but flowers designed to look like a birthday cake with candles and everything. I was legitimately worried that it'd come out like a Pinterest "nailed it" moment, but really liked the design and went for it. Two days before the delivery I called and asked about the expected delivery time. The young guy that answered the phone was so polite and was willing to guarantee me it'd be delivered before noon. Again, I was skeptical and just hoped for the best. Her birthday came and the flowers were delivered by 10am and were gorgeous!! My mom is a teacher and her students and colleagues were raving about how nice her flowers were. They lasted for more than two weeks and apparently smelled wonderful. I ordered for my Padrinos funeral at mt.carmel this last Monday the 11th. A white lily peace plant. Dora helped me on Saturday and it was delivered on time. I've used Debbie's Bloomers a few times because I live out of state and my aunt suggested them. For my uncles passing they did wonderful job. But whenever I send flowers for my aunts birthday I don't honestly feel I get what I pay for. This last arrangement was 70.00 and if I didn't work in a flower shop before I supposed it could be justified as 70, but for me it will be the last time I buy flowers. I asked for fall flower colors, oranges, reds and yellows. Full arrangement maybe in a basket so the amount would be used on the vase. I ordered an arrangement to be sent to a funeral home. I asked for a bright, tropical arrangement and requested that a pic be sent to me. On the day of the service I had to call Debbie's Bloomers to see if the arrangement had been sent and to inquire about the pic. The funeral home took the pic because it appears the florist forgot. Apparently spending $100.66 does not guarantee that a florist at DB's will send you a photo as requested. I asked a family member who was at the service what they thought of the arrangement. From both the photo I received & the description all I can say is that I was very disappointed- even the enclosure card was incorrect (the decedent's surname was used instead of my correct name). At the very least I expect a recipient to know who's sending flowers to their loved one at a funeral. I cannot recommend Debbie's Bloomers if you expect value & professionalism for your money. read more

I live in California, and I was super worried about ordering flowers for my boyfriends mom for Mothers Day. I wanted them to be beautiful and special. I did quite a bit of research on flower shops in El Paso and looked at reviews which many were terrifying with pictures of what they ordered and what they received. I was looking at Debbie's website when I started thinking, its nearly impossible to expect/receive an identical flower arrangement from what you order online, flowers are seasonal! I decided to call and say "I trust you guys, I just want the prettiest seasonal (spring) flowers that you have in light pastel colors, with no bright/dark greenery" I had no idea what to expect and I was just praying they were pretty AND oh my gosh, they were BEAUTIFUL. I ordered online and confirmed over the phone, letting them know that I didn't know the hospital room number yet, and would update them when I got it. It was very easy to order from this company, and they sent a confirmation email once the flowers were delivered. Perfect! My only complaint is that they had a bouquet online that they actually were unable to fulfill (I think they didn't have all the flowers for it, or it would take a few days to get). I ordered a a bouquet of flowers for a very close friend of mine at work. She was having a rough day after some comments were made about her. I set out to cheer her up and came across the idea of ordering a bouquet of roses since I couldn't go pick them up because I was at work and wanted to surprise my friend. I went to the internet and having zero experience of ordering any kind of flowers decided to go with Debbie's bloomers because it was the first that appeared on the list. The lady that helped me the owner I assume was extremely kind I explained if I could order some roses and explained a little of the situation. I then asked if she could have them in the next twenty minutes to which she laughed with good reason, since it was late in the day and all her workers had left. She then stated she would deliver them herself and happened to have a bouquet ready which was a great blessing. She arrived on time within twenty minutes as promised. I barely saw the bouquet as I wanted to surprise my friend and didn't want her to know it was from me( I convinced the staff to say it was from all of us and the note did not specify who it was from). While I did not get a clear view of the rose bouquet, my friend who saw them was so moved she began to cry. Debbie's bloomers definitely came through and went above and beyond.
