She was very quick to respond and it was clear she was organized with her scheduling. She was able to squeeze us in the second week of November. We scheduled just a little mini session, which ended up being perfect for what we needed. I just needed to update my girls pictures and get a nice family picture for a Christmas card. Traci was on time and she made me and my family feel comfortable immediately. It was an area she was familiar with and she had lots of suggestions for posing. Tracy emailed our photographs within a week! (It may have been four days?!) I was so impressed that I did not have to request our photographs, which I have had to do in the past with other photographers. I was able to order and send out Christmas cards by December 1! As for the pictures-they were amazing. We typically only get professional pictures done every other year, so it is not a natural thing for us. I don't consider myself photogenic at all, but I couldn't be more satisfied! We had a great selection to choose from and I really liked the lighting/editing. Traci made family pictures a fun event. My husband and I are considering doing them every year now. She made it that enjoyable. Ordering from her website was super easy too. If you are in the market for a family photographer, I highly recommend Traci. I went solely by referral and checking out her website, I did not know she had an Instagram until afterward. You can see her amazing work there!

I was surprised, since I'm a tough one to get smiling and not blinking at the wrong moment. I feel this was a very good value for the professionalism and effort to capture multiple shots in order to have a broad selection to choose the best, which Traci did automatically. Very pleased. No fuss, just got it done.

The weather was definitely Sacramento weather in being cold and rainy and now living in Southern California my almost 2 year did not like the cold. Aside from our EXTREMELY tardiness, a fussy cold toddler, lauren did not only an amazing job at capturing our family for a few minutes but she was soooo kind and made us all as comfortable as possible while being in the cold. We will definitely use her in the near future and I can't wait. Our session was a mini and she provided us proofs within an hours of our shoot-literally! We loved what Lauren was able to capture in the short amount of time. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Lauren and mini sessions for those that can't handle an hour of smiling for the camera ;)

On the day of the wedding Megan was pleasantly efficient, which is EXACTLY what you want when faced with a sprawling woodland venue, a tight timeline, and a large family to wrangle. Megan's cheery personality and hyper-organized plan allowed us to relax knowing that we could enjoy the event fully while she captured the day. She knew the venue intimately and made sure we took advantage of the most beautiful locations and light. We had a few specific shots that we requested (see: dapper dudes sock photo) which Megan made sure to capture. Beyond that, we trusted her to do her thing and I was so happy with the outcome. The result was a set of beautifully shot and varied photos that reflected the mood of the day and the care put into the event: dramatic fall landscapes, romantic nuzzles, ceremony emotion, reunions between family and friends, guests tearing up the dance floor, details of the bouquet and rings -- the list goes on. I was impressed with the intention and personalization Megan brought to her work. A close up of a couple holding hands in the ceremony audience is a nice photo that would make anyone smile, but when it's not just any couple, but the groom's parents, then it's all the more special. There were countless shots like this that made us feel known. In a world that seems saturated with glammed up and overly stylized wedding photos, Megan's work stands out for its clean, authentic, intimate style and personal touch.
