My wife and I dined at the restaurant twice on a recent trip to Germany, and we were treated with really delicious options from their Spring and Summer menus. The real highlight was the fruit bowl for dessert; it looked and tasted like every berry and slice of pear had been put in exactly the right place. The staff was really friendly and accommodating of some requests for substitutions. It was never crowded at dinner time on the weekend, and the outdoor tables were very pleasant (you could have almost forgotten that the restaurant is near a busy street). I can't wait for my next visit!

Dean & David is truly s top notch Salad restaurant…read more After seeing that Heidelberg had one, then I had to visit. Dean & David has such a range of healthy, flavourful, and tasty salads, one is unlikely to be disappointed. During this visit I chose the normal sized Chicken Oriental. To be fair, the "normal size" is massive! I struggled to finish it during my quick lunch break. The "small size" is easily sufficient for lunch. The salad was superb! Fruity mango, succulent chicken, generous amount of lettuce, and sherry elder dressing drizzled on top. This restaurant is slightly tucked away on the corner of Poststrasse, but central in the Altstadt, near Galeria Kaufhof, and not too far from the main shopping street Haupstrasse. It offers seating outside on an open terrace.

The curries were pretty good, but they didn't knock our socks off. The salads looked really good and like they'd be the highlight menu item there.

My favourite place for eating wraps in Heidelberg. The wraps come in different flavours…read more(vegetarian, beef, chicken, tofu and shrimps) and with different sauces (currently mango-curry and honey-mustard) and are served alongside a nice amount of couscous salad. Both the salad and the wraps are very tasty, no matter how you choose your ingredients. Even the tofu one was tasty! :) Also great is that they manage to keep the prices low: For less than 5€ you get a wrap in any flavour that is easily enough to make you feel full. Apart from the wraps they also offer juices (yummy!), salads that you can customise and warm dishes. I have yet to try the warm dishes and the salads. Attention: Lines can get long during lunch time and you might be out of luck with finding a place to sit. My only complaint is that they are not open at night. This would be a perfect place for getting a night snack but they currently close at 7pm.

The place looked very clean even though it was busy. My server pati was super friendly and on point! She was there for dinner and lunch.
