Really great upscale craft brew pub in the heart of the city. Extremely friendly and helpful staff…read more(most speak English) along with a nice food menu. They have a proper tap wall that is extremely hard to find in Germany. Outdoor tables and the front opens completely for nice weather. When you just have to have a Stone Ripper or BrewDog Punk IPA (both are on tap) this is your go to spot.

Really neat, old German pub. It looks like something out of a movie…read more The service was good. They have six taps and sell in either 0,3 or 0,5 liter glasses. One thing I didn't understand is that although Schlappeseppel can be purchased in the supermarket, it was not available in this brewpub. Instead they sell Faust. Prices for beer are cheap compared to an American brewpub--2,85E for 0,5 liter. The food was more expensive but it was worth the price because it was exceptionally good.
