Plus, its location makes it popular for many KU Leuven students to come here in between classes. Their prices are also rather affordable, 1.30euros for one scoop of gelato. What keeps everyone coming back is how tasty and creamy their gelato is. I've tried about a third of their flavors. So far, their Ferrero Rocher flavor is my favorite. It's dark chocolatey, hazelnutty, and has pieces of the wafer well-distributed throughout it.

The ones I didn't like: - The hazelnut just tasted like sugar, lacking any distinct flavor. - The yogurt lychee apricot tasted like yogurt plus sugar. I could barely taste any hint of lychee or apricot. The ones I thought were okay: - The strawberry was more like a sherbet. - The red velvet did not taste like red velvet, but I didn't find it too sweet at least. The cone they use also tastes like it's riddled with sugar. I actually didn't plan on coming here a second time, except that as I left, I saw a customer with a meringue disc on top of their ice cream, and I really wanted to try that as well. Two tips from me: 1. Turns out the meringue discs are free! How come it's not offered to every customer then? How come there's no sign for it? In any case, I'm letting you guys know now! If you want to spiff up your ice cream for free, ask for that meringue disc. 2. You get a cone + 1 scoop of ice cream for €2. If you want a cone + 2 scoops, it's €4..... Just buy 2 cones with 1 scoop of ice cream each then. I mean, if you don't want to, that's fine. But if they're not discounting the second scoop, then I'm getting a second cone, lol. Service-wise, I had a mixed experience. When I came yesterday, the person scooping the ice cream just did not care. However much they scooped the first time was however much the customer received... As a result, I saw some people with the tiniest scoops (like half the size of my single scoop)! Today, the person scooping the ice cream was a lot more diligent and competent. If the first scoop wasn't a lot, they'd scoop another smaller scoop so that every customer got roughly the same amount of ice cream. I'm sure not everyone pays attention to things like this, but I try to take note of small stuff from time to time. In this case, it's about making sure every customer can leave feeling like they're being treated the same. It's what sets the "I have hands" employees apart from the "I have hands and a brain" employees. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the ice cream, so I probably won't come back here, again.

The texture was perfect and the flavor was great! I also think that their waffle cones in Belgium are way better. They need to open a gelato factory in LA asap! Every flavour is home made and the don't usually have the same flavours for two days in a row, which i find rather exciting. First time I went, I had a cone with a scoop of Hazelnut and a scoop of Caramel. Although the caramel one was delicious, the Hazelnut gelatto is out of this fu$&ng world (Pardon my French). Second time I had coffee gelato and I repeated with the Hazelnut. If you're not sure about what to have, ask the really nice girls who work there for a taste. I recommend banana which also embraces your taste buds in a cold yet warm loving hug hahaha I say this is the best ice cream in Antwerp. I dare anyone to tell me there's something better.

There is a courtyard/garden for outside eating on nice summer days. They sell ice cream by the half liter as well. Great to stop in for tea and coffee with friends. I highly recommend. Not many places as good as this. Price for ice cream is fair. Crepes, waffles, and chocolate are much higher.
