This bungalow park encompasses the totally organic and holistic visions of its owners, Jos and Hanneke. From the way in which it is run (the old-fashioned trust that their customers will pay what they take from the store at the end of their stay), you can almost taste the warm and loving care they give their business and their animals. It is present all around you as soon as you step onto their park area.
Totally consistent in their attitude and caring life style, the bungalow park is laid out as privately as possible, with fun things to do as a family, with each other rather than a rectangular, blue light, screen. They have a small animal farm with goats, chickens, bunnies, really cute pigs, a small Shetland pony, and docile horse to ride on special afternoons. They organize walks in the woods with a local park ranger and offer dog walking services.
Some of the bungalows have a fireplace to enjoy in the wintertime. Some are larger and will easily provide space for the entire family. The bungalows have bird names in Dutch. Because a daycare for people with a challenge is run alongside the bungalow park (the zorgboerderij), which provides activities for them and teaches them to care for nature and themselves, you will find all types of really nice young folks around you at any time of the day. Coffee time at 10.30AM is celebrated with typically Dutch cookie bread, called 'ontbijtkoek' (breakfast bread, has ginger as one of its delicious ingredients). Everybody is welcome to join.
In their store fresh eggs from their own chickens are available for purchase, as are other staple items. They have a small freezer with organic meats. Pictures are attached below. Also, you can now acquire the most lovely and soft sheep covers (not from their farm).
A 'small' library has been started in the store as well.
