I went to parkview as a new 7th grader. some teachers are good some will get mad at you for no…read morereason. the 7th grade ELA teacher (Ms. Augistien) called me "special". for context i have ADHD and autism and it can be harder for me to learn. I was deeply offended by this and had said to me in the hallway when i asked why she called me "special" she said to me "why what's wrong." once i told her i was offended she basically said it was a me problem and that im insecure. the princeable will take your phone with no warning. she took mine and i was just in te hallway with my friends and had no idea that she gave no warnings of putting your phone away or she will take it. overall. very very very bad school do not recomend.

For our reunion (never mind which one, but it's decades) we had a wonderful tour of the old school…read more New gym, but still have the old gym. Kept the beautiful walls and woodwork in the auditorium and the library has the spectacular murals it's had since the 1930s (no that's not my era). Now with only 900 students compared with about 2500 when I attended a portion of the classes has been knocked out with a huge multi-purpose cafeteria. There are many programs to keep students in school and ready for the real world work place whether they are college bound or not. The principal explained that 70% of the enrollment now is below the poverty line, the school population comprised of Hispanic, Hmong, Somali and other ESL students. Compare to my days when it was about 99% white mostly middle class. New challenges and opportunities the school seems to be meeting.

With food, I'd say its better than the average school food your seeing on social media- but your definitely not getting 5 star treatment. Occasionally the bottled water will be completely frozen I will warn.
