I had to remind him at two separate visits I was not here for my back, but I have severe disk disease in my neck. He performed an acupuncture treatment the week before for what he thought was back pain. When I came in for my next visit he asked if my back pain improved. I was confused and said " my back", he replied " I thought you were he for back pain". He also was very offended when I told him the acupuncture treatment he did caused increasing pain and flu like symptoms for 3 days. He told me that was not possible, implying I was lying. After establishing care with another Dr. that performed acupuncture (specifically targeting my NECK) that Dr. said it is known that acupuncture can put your body into a healing crisis as your body releases toxins. I have no idea why Dr. Joseph got so defensive. I was respectful and pleasant, the exact opposite of him.

When we moved back to Green Bay four years ago I tried to find a pain doctor that would continue my treatment. I had no success. I tried Bellin, Aurora and Prevea. All they wanted to do is take me off the meds that had been working for me for years. They made remarks to me that were very hurtful. Finally someone recommended a doctor that was independent from the big corporations, Dr. John Joseph. When I went for my first appointment I found him to be very kind and sympathetic. He listened carefully to what I said and after getting the records from my Florida doctor, he agreed to continue my medication that had worked so well. I can't describe the relief that I felt when he said this. He has managed my back pain for over a year now and I can live a normal life. Everyone in the office is friendly and kind, always. I recommend this pain management clinic to anyone who suffers from pain and cannot find relief.

I had severe lower stabbing back pain that would almost put me on my knees generally in the morning after getting up. After my first appointment I was sold on Dr. Lyon who definitely knows what he is doing and after a few more appointments, I was back to normal. I remember the pain relief I had after my first appointment and jokingly said, "you must be the Messiah!" If you have severe back pain like I periodically do, you certainly remember the Doctor who eliminated the pain. A great Doctor who is easy to talk to and a real professional when it comes to Chiropractic care. My wife will join me on my next visit and will start seeing him also for her Chiropractic needs!

I recently began seeing Dr. Davis for a pinched nerve in my back. As someone who lives an active…read morelifestyle, having my body in as good a shape as possible is key, for both my physical and mental well-being. In addition to the pinched nerve in my back, I also suffer from arthritis in my neck, caused by the cartilage being ground into dust while living live as a morbidly obese person (I've since lost a great deal of weight, but I still deal with the devastating effects those years had on my body). From the start, Dr. Davis was professional and courteous, with a friendly manner. Her office is exceptionally clean and impressive, every single visit, every single time. She asks pointed questions, and gives immediate feedback, even during the exam itself. She has an obvious passion for helping people...its not just the diagnosis, but more how the diagnosis and treatment affect the individual's life outside of that office. I found that to be extraordinarily impressive. She is upfront about rates, which have an impressive amount of detail and flexibility. They are ridiculously reasonable, given the quality of care and what we've all come to expect from medical service providers. Two months later, and I'm back to an (almost) normal, active lifestyle. Perhaps not quite there yet, but I trust the arc of improvement I've seen since beginning with Dr. Davis. Full-bore activities are not far off. And compared to the first day I walked in...it's night and day. I would recommend Davis Family Chiropractic for anyone in need or want of chiropractic care.
