I ate here because I was staying at the adjacent hotel, the Lodge, for work. People are dressed nicer and in general its well dressed couples enjoying dinner. It's pricier food than the student fare that is more common in downtown leuven, but I do feel like its quite good and prepared by a professional chef. I appreciate the broad selection beyond meat. I chose a nice mackerel dish, which was a 'special' fish, but it was well tasty and came with lots of veggies. The wine list is also nice, but by the glass is only house wine. I got lucky there was an open glass of sauvignon blanc. I ordered the panne cotta and it came with a tart mojito sorbet. Overall a really nice dinner, just on the pricey side so I don't think I would be able to come here every night. read more
