Ample room with good work desk space nice tc and kitchenette lounge area with sofa bed and bathroom has small tub plus stand in shower. The staff has been great, the one from breakfast room is superb. I had made a mistake and reserved two twin beds and after one night they accommodated me into my original intent of a king size. Location is great close to coffee restaurants shopping and within walking distance is a sports club gym which is a full gym. Hotel has a small gym and pool for basics. I'd stay here for value is top notch.

The room was large and spotless, even had a small kitchenette if you were to stay longer. Very nice breakfast, with made to order hot items like omelettes and French toast along with cereals and fruit. The pool and gym were perfunctory, but there was a washer and dryer on the top floor available for use. Very quiet neighborhood, no traffic noise. The advice, concierge service, and friendliness/language skills of the staff in the lobby were excellent. Close to the Palermo stop on the D subway line and Ave Santa Fe for cabs. The great restaurants and cafes of the Palermo district are all in walking distance, as are the big supermarkets and drugstores. Excellent wifi service from the room.

However, the boarding process for the ferry back to Argentina was a nightmare! Mass chaos as there was only one line for both Buquebus and Colonia Express. Our ferry was departing at 5:15 but the line did not move through security until 4:50. They opened the line to some people but didn't announce who it was for. Imagine "Lord of the Flies" scenario - everyone for themselves! Terrible, and stressful experience!

We were put in touch with Martin Agazzi who tailored our excursion. We wired money and were emailed plane tickets, hotel vouchers, and everything we would possibly need. Tickets were sent to the Marriott as well. We took a taxi from the hotel to the airport. Once we got off our flight, we saw our driver with our name listed. He took us to our five star luxurious hotel, which was lovely. Marco and a driver picked us up with another couple for our tour of the Brazilian Falls in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Marco was very informative, knowledgeable, insightful, and personable. He guided us on shuttles, across trails, took wonderful photographs, handled passports, and made our day very memorable and special. Our second day was of the Argentina Falls. We were picked up at our hotel at 7:30. Carlos whisked us to the green trail above the falls to the blue trail below the falls us onto the jungle boat ride into the falls. His English & Spanish was superb. He kept track of all 14 of us, and our day was smooth and without an incident. We got to meet interesting, kind & wonderful new friends . Ten minutes after we were dropped off at the hotel, we were picked up and taken to the airport. Our overnight excursion to Iguazú Falls went without a hitch. It was seamless, easy and a pleasure. The staff of Raza Travel did a wonderful job of taking care of us when we don't speak the language nor know where we're going. We highly recommend Raza Travel!

From immigration to the boat and transportation between countries worked in our favor. As a 21st century girl it was evident some people weren't happy they did not have access to wifi on their boats as some children had tantrums from lack of IPad accessibility and some adults couldn't make phone calls but I think if anything that lack of social media checking can be used to truly reconnect with those traveling with you! Both boats we took were fairly accessible for all those who had a disability if they wished to eat on board you could as they a full little cafe with warm danishes, snacks, and drinks at your convenience!

Buenos Aires to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay…read more.. It's a couple-hour ferry ride from BA to Colonia, and then you can continue on by bus to other areas or not. We chose not because this was meant to be a day trip and another stamp on the passport. 100% recommend if you have the time - I need to add some Uruguay locations to Yelp because it is so gorgeous there!!! It is totally giving coastal European summer vibes. NOTE: Get to the station early even if you already have tix!!! It was packed and not only do you have to get through security, but customs for interviews too. This took wayyyyyy longer than expected, so I'm glad we arrived with time to do all of this and get coffee - tho it was still a photo finish to board the ferry. The big boat was crowded but there were plenty of seats, or you can go outside with the TikTokers. There's a duty-free shop which was super crowded the entire time. Locals were stocking up on chocolates and liquor. No coffee or food service. A day trip was perfect to walk the cobblestone streets, shop, eat, and lounge on a patio for drinks while a band plays, sailboats drift by, and the town dogs sit at your feet waiting patiently for a pet or some of your food. Heading back was less crowded or stressful. Still lots of lines but the only rush was to return to the AirBnb and change for dinner. All in all, worth the cost which I think was less than $100USD pp.

BUENOS AIRES: Diego was our guide in BA. He met us inside the airport and escorted us to the Four Seasons in Buenos Aires about 30 minutes away. He was so energetic and enthusiastic, I knew we had a great guide. The next day Diego picked us up for a 4-hour tour of the city. We visited the mechanized flower sculpture Floralis Generica, drove through parts of the city, stopped at the Eva Peron monument, Recoleta cemetery, Al Ateneo bookstore (a former theater), Casa Rosada, Metropolitan church, and ended in Laboca, home of the tango dance. We made our own arrangements back to the hotel. A few days later Diego picked us up for transport to the airport. He even helped us check in and saw us off at security. What a great guy! Fun, informative and patient. Thanks a million, Diego! TIPS: Uber isn't legally allowed to operate in BA, but there were a few cars roaming around. The driver and I couldn't connect on one occasion, so we taxi'd it which was still cheap. The Argentine Experience (empanada making & dinner) and La Ventana (tango show & dinner) were great activities. See separate reviews.
