This is perhaps the rudest floral shop I have ever come across in many years of using dozens of flower shops. If you do not have time to read my experience....trust me I never write reviews but these guys totally have this coming.....
I met my new wife last year and used De La Flor even though they were farther from my wife's home in Tamarac. So, for my first anniversary I chose to use them again....big, big mistake.
Not only did they not call my wife the morning of delivery to make sure she would be home, as they stated they would (roses cannot be left on a doorstep in the heat), but she never received the flowers even though I called one day ahead. I paid them almost $20 for delivery.
When I called to check on the status, the lady who answered (at approx. 2 pm on 4-13-18), abruptly stated "I will call the driver and call you back" and hung up before I had a chance to state anything - very poor phone skills. I wait 15 minutes and then get a call from someone else, who does not identify himself (spoke with a hispanic accent). He states he will need to "call his driver and call me right back." Again, he hangs up before I even have a chance to say anything like, "ok thanks." Again, poor phone skills.
After 20 minutes, I HAD TO CALL THEM BACK.... I told them I was not really happy with how things were going so far, the hispanic man did not even give me a chance to speak, just interrupted and stated "I cannot get ahold of my driver, if we cannot contact him we will just cancel this order." WHAT?? Totally bizarre ....you will cancel my order because you cannot contact your own driver??? I had not even given him any reason to be so rude to me. After hearing that I just told him I was done and that I wanted to cancel. Instead of apologizing he even more rudely stated, "well just have a nice day then" in the most sarcastic and disingenuous
tone possible.
WOW ....I hope someone from your company reads this. How do you guys stay in business?
Your driver never calls to schedule a delivery
Your drive never delivers.
When the customer HAS TO CALL YOU to find out what happened, you abruptly stop a decent conversation by hanging up abruptly.
Your hispanic worker gets totally frustrated at the drop of a hat and just cancels orders at will.
When a customer has a legitimate reason to have a bad experience....all that customer gets is a rude "goodbye" essentially saying - I do not want any business from you any more in the future.
I can oblige - no more orders, no more getting flowers from you for my wife on our anniversary, no more flowers for special occasions, no more use of for anything as well as telling all folks and our many friends.....stay away from Del La Flor....they do not have their crap together and they make you feel the blame. read more
