Driving up the middle of the Netherlands to reach Terschelling, in the middle of the North Sea, so many houses have small Dutch rabbit hutches. This is where you eat them. A traditional Dutch delicacy, it is particularly delicious here. Snug in a warm, friendly cafe while the North Sea howls outside, it doesn't get much better than that!

Bicycle parking can be tough during the peak season but is no problem anytime but the summer. My personal favorite are the 'bonken' or better known to the rest of the world as baby-back spare ribs.
