I feel bad about writing this review but I wanted to let others know about the experience I had.
I made an appointment with Mike for a psychology session. His rate is $160 per 50 minutes and I'm not sure what the standard rate is so I can't comment on whether that is high or low. However I felt like Mike took advantage of me and always suggested methods that required an extra cost. For example, he asked me if a workbook would be helpful and I thought yes, assuming I was just going to borrow it. When I got my first bill, I saw that I had to pay $25 for it and on top of that, $20 for a "personality test." I never asked for one but I trusted what he suggested, I just didn't realize it would keep tacking onto my bill. The next session he recommended an electronic shock sleep aid and I immediately declined it because I didn't want to get surprised by another charge.
I decided to stop my sessions with Mike after 2 and go to counseling instead. He sent my personality results to my counselor (not without charging me for "analyzing" the test) and guess what, the test was completely inaccurate (actually!) Great. I just decided to write it off and forget about it instead of following up.
I wouldn't recommend Mike but he does have a nice calm demeanor. read more
