Everything about this place was amazing - so clean and well done, friendly staff, large place, and everything tailored toward small kids. Carousels, little rides like cars & boats, petting zoo with the most mild mannered goats we have ever seen, a massive in-ground trampoline, a train, singing busts (with the best song ever!), and the list goes on and on. We could spent countless hours here and still not get tired. We will definitely be back here again.

I never agreed until I actually went to one as an adult), but we were allowed to go the Linnaeushof, and by our early teens we were riding our bikes 30 minutes to go hang out here. The Linnaeushof has equipment for kids of all ages, ranging from a simple play area for toddlers, to go-karts, an indoor playground, huge slides, a small waterpark, and really cool chairlifts that took you for a ride across the lake, which you could also explore by paddle boat! At the heart of the playground stands a restaurant, though perhaps snackbar would be a better term. Basic french fries, kroketten, etc., and ice cream. Nothing special, but it's perfect for kids parties and long playground days.

This is not something for people with vertigo, or the faint of heart, as even the easiest courses are taking place high up in the sky, between the green leafs of some wonderful trees. Also, it's a good thing if you are reasonably fit... Before the start, you are asked to fill out a form with your personal details, and you need to put your signature there as well... I guess by doing that you are ok with the small print. After a short introduction to the gear and how to use it, you are sent off into the sky. There are 9 courses to choose from, ranging from easy to hard. My personal favorites were 8 and 9... the rest seemed too easy (but can be used to get used to how everything works) I am writing this "the day after", and 2 things I notice: I still have a big grin on my face, that's how much fun it was! And I feel every muscle in my body... seriously! So I need to give 5 stars. This is something you need to do with your friends or colleagues! Check their website, they are always busy, so you need to make a reservation ahead of time. [update, a few days later]My arms are still sore. And I still have a huge grin on my face. Seriously. If you like fun, you need to do this. Period! Oh, and bring gloves (like the gloves you would use with fitness)... ropes and cables baby! Access costs 7.50 euro for both adults and kids (under 2 years old is free) but if you live nearby a season ticket makes much more sense as it's cheaper after only 3 visits. There are obstacle courses (including one above shallow water), slides, swings, and boats to spend time on the lake. On the nature side, you can watch and pet a range of animals, there are beehives and an "insect hotel", and there are educational displays to learn about different plants. I found it closed a bit early (6 PM during summer time) while it won't get dark till much later. Still I'd highly recommend this place.
