I never agreed until I actually went to one as an adult), but we were allowed to go the Linnaeushof, and by our early teens we were riding our bikes 30 minutes to go hang out here. The Linnaeushof has equipment for kids of all ages, ranging from a simple play area for toddlers, to go-karts, an indoor playground, huge slides, a small waterpark, and really cool chairlifts that took you for a ride across the lake, which you could also explore by paddle boat! At the heart of the playground stands a restaurant, though perhaps snackbar would be a better term. Basic french fries, kroketten, etc., and ice cream. Nothing special, but it's perfect for kids parties and long playground days.

Personally we were a bit disappointed with this park. The biggest problem with this park is the reliability. Half of the rides are always closed. Speed of sound closes five minutes after it opens. Also, the pizza stands are never in stock. We waited 15 minutes for one pizza to be made for one person while we waited in the back of a super long line. And the pizza is awful. The park keeps wanted to expand without using their money is more long- term ways like better staff, and bigger food ovens. It's still a very charming quirky colorful park with a great atmosphere and rides.

Everything about this place was amazing - so clean and well done, friendly staff, large place, and everything tailored toward small kids. Carousels, little rides like cars & boats, petting zoo with the most mild mannered goats we have ever seen, a massive in-ground trampoline, a train, singing busts (with the best song ever!), and the list goes on and on. We could spent countless hours here and still not get tired. We will definitely be back here again.

My advise first off is to get a ticket from a nearby newsagent/ ticket shop where for (if i remember EUR18 for a ticket to bo the the dungeon and tussards wax museum. I think each venue charge EUR26 each! Its funny how both london and 'dam are similar - basically its the same sort of layout etc.. except instead of a sweeny todd scene, you have a famous dutch 'nutter' scene. Me and my partner (both in our early 20s) booked this park via a national newspaper offer so for…read moreour accommodation which was a Duingalow was only around £70 for a Monday to Friday stay. We booked a Ramsgate - Ostende ferry with LD Lines which I think we paid around £200.00 for. It was awful. Never again. When we arrived at the park the staff were friendly and spoke perfect English (which was great for us!). We were shown to our Duingalow (caravan) and weren't disappointed. It was a lovely caravan with a bit of decking and a BBQ. Everything worked fine and had everything it was supposed to. The park itself it really great... anyone with children should definately come here. The theme park is brilliant considering it's free (it's no Chessington or antyhing of that calibre but it certainly is entertaining). The water park is FABULOUS! and only costs about 2 euros for people staying at the site. We ate at one of the little fast food places which was also pretty good (a little expensive but I've generally found that places like this generally are in Europe). The staff (and locals) are really helpful. I (very spectacularly) managed to fall down 1 step and badly sprain my ankle. A very nice lady (not staff) came over and asked if I was alright as I had been sat on the floor for a while. I managed to get up and hobble away fine but it swelled up a LOT once I rested it. The next day we stopped at reception as we were leaving that day and asked for someone to 'properly' strap up my ankle so that I could walk on it a little and they were brilliant. We went into the little supermarket on site for 1/2 things but generally found it a bit overpriced (again as they all are at these kinds of places) but just in the town there is a supermarket called C1000 (which the reception staff actually recommended to us) which is brilliant. There is a LOVELY pizza place directly opposite. I would definately recommend it. We are going back this year (with a different ferry company for a much better price!) and are very much looking forward to it.

This time around I had some free time and decided to check it out. Despite having gotten a description from someone who had visited before me, I was surprised by the details in the scale models of various structures from across The Netherlands. Walking through the property exposed me to various buildings that were part of Dutch history. The mechanical people mimicking processions and a concert were a cool touch. I loved the mechanical trains, boats, cars, buses and planes that made the scenes more realistic. Definitely a must see in my book.

They have moving trains, planes, ships and automobiles. You need a good two hours to go through the park. It's May and there were no tulips, only giant fake ones. The gift shop is worth taking a look at. The coolest thing was the KLM airplane. You go in and are given a numbered seat. Sights of Netherlands are seen through the passenger windows. I don't know how much the entrance is as the entry was part of our escorted tour package.
