There are really three stores here: a warm buffet, a bakery, and a restaurant. The restaurant has a small selection of prepared food, including a weekly special and daily special. The specials are a small assembly of diverse elements. You can get the specials in a large or small plate; the small plate was itself a good meal, so I imagine the large plate is pretty filling. The food is tasty and fresh. Well worth a visit. It may be the most affordable vegetarian restaurant food in Zürich.

This place offers freshly baked sweet delights and sandwiches that are so good. OMG!!! I ordered flakey pretzel roll with salmon. It was simple, quick bite, but by far, one of my favorite salmon sandwiches I've had in such a long time. If you're a salmon lover, be sure to stop by for quick bite. Only bad thing I would say about this place is when you first come in through glass doors, to the right... deliciousness danger zone. They offer so many amazing, freshly baked pastries that is really tempting to order one of each. You do need to have will power to control yourself lol. You will find, "Erdbeertörtli," "Vanille Cornet," "Zitronentörtli," "Punschkugel," "Carac," and "Florentiner Gross." Prices are very reasonable too. Service great too. I remember the first time I went in there and ate an "unpaniertes Schnitzelbrot" because the ones with breadcrumbs were already sold out. I first doubted how this unpanierte Schnitzel would taste like but to my surprise it actually tasted pretty much the same and I enjoyed it very much! Since then I came back many times to try out their freshly made salads and pies and oh my they have quite the selection of pies, sweet and salty. One can even come here just to have a quick coffee break and eat a gipfeli. If you're lucky there will even be little cake pieces to try out ;)

The varieties are much better in the morning then in the afternoon. I do enjoy the coffees here a lot. A little on the stronger side, which I prefer. The wait staff is not particularly friendly but neither are they rude. They put up with my 2 yr old hyper active daughter every time (and the mess she inevitably creates) so I can't complain really. The Aragosta pastry I had this afternoon was particularly yummy and generously filled with custard cream. It was quite huge and a bit messy to eat but nonetheless, I enjoyed every bite of it along with my perfect cup of cappuccino.
