I had a beer and my wife had a wine. I ordered Vol-aux-Vent and my wife had Cod Royal. The food was cooked and arrived around 20 minutes later. My dish had a large amount of chicken with gravy. The pastry cup was crispy and fresh. My wife's fish was cooked perfectly and had a nice sauce. Overall, both dishes were excellent in our opinions. We finished with a coffee each. This was an excellent lunch served on a white tablecloth.

It it reasonably priced with a very friendly staff. When you enter this hotel it feels like you are entering a high end club lounge (club music is always playing). It has a very laid back cool young energy vibe......although during the week they are bus loads of retirees visiting for a couple days. Their food is just as good as going to a restaurant downtown (well actually the steak and breakfast buffet was). It is a hip downtown spot so you will see people enjoying the lounge atmosphere but are probably not staying at the hotel. It sort of reminds me of a more reasonable version of the W.
