You can buy new or second hand bikes, get your bike repaired or rent a bike for a fiver a day. Everyone working here is friendly and helpful, and completely honest. I'd had a few bad experiences with different bike rental/repair places in Leiden massively overcharging and being very unhelpful, but these guys are a pleasure to deal with and are always up front and reasonable about costs. I've been using Budget Bikes every time I've visited Leiden in the past three years and never had a bad experience.

Hidden in a courtyard-like garden with many rooms housing antique as well as newly designed bicycles, the shop itself is as much a museum & showroom as it is a place to buy or have your bicycle repaired.
