(Bubbles, streaks, spills.etc...) My sidewalk isn't stained and sealed and it all was supposed to match. (have texts messages to prove it was to be done) Tried multiple times to have Jonathan Anglin come finish and repair the work. He would say he would and never schedule a time. Have multiple texts messages of him saying all the work he would finish. He quit responding to my messages. Its almost a year later and still the job isn't complete. Definitely would NOT hire him. Found out today there are several complaints and possible litigations against him and his businesses. Would NOT recommend!!

We agreed on the price and he had said he would level out all the dirt he dug up, plant grass seed and lay hay. I had already given him a deposit but the day of the job he said I had to pay him in full, which I did. I then noticed he was not present during the laying of my new driveway. Nor has he been out since though I have text him numerous times and every time he promises to come by but never has. This has been an ongoing saga for months. I had a number of issues with the job, 1) there was a huge gully at end of my driveway which they never filled in, 2) after a rain driveway drains in towards the existing driveway, therefore puddling in the middle where you get out of your vehicle, 3) he did NOT extend the length of the driveway for what I paid him extra to do 4) tore up my yard in the process, and 5) he never came back to look at any of my complaints and 6)certainly never came back to level the dirt or plant grass seed like he promised. I would NOT recommend him for this type work especially if you are paying him.

The day he poured it I was told that he added a rapid curing agent so he could pull the forms the same day. He did not do that and left without my knowledge. Upon removing the forms the next day, each of the four sides bow out in the middle and the cement was apparently not compacted along the sides so it looks rough where air pockets were located. I do not have a rectangular pad but rather one that looks bowed out on all four sides. Mr. Meeks said it would have to cure two months before he could come back of fill in the imperfections along the sides. I called him around his designated time but he said he had a family emergency. So, I'm stuck with a rather unsightly pad and hardened excess concrete strewn around the yard. It appears it is up to me to clean up after him.

This was, without question, the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. Communication was consistently poor from the very beginning. We were repeatedly given dates and times that were not honored. There were numerous no-shows with no communication, and we were constantly left wondering if anyone was coming. Every part of the project required us to chase updates instead of the contractor proactively communicating. The job we paid for was never fully completed. Many of the workers appeared inexperienced, and the quality of the craftsmanship was far below what anyone should expect from a professional contractor. We had to point out issue after issue, and problems that should have been done correctly the first time were either ignored or poorly repaired. The most frustrating part is that our roof is leaking again after being told it had been "fixed." We trusted this contractor to resolve the problem, but instead we're left dealing with additional damage and the expense of hiring someone else to correct the work. If you're looking for a contractor who communicates well, shows up when promised, stands behind their work, and delivers quality craftsmanship, this was not our experience. I would not recommend them.

Based on our experience, we would…read morestrongly advise others to think twice before trusting him with one of the largest financial investments of their lives. We were left dealing with approximately $90,000 in remediation, repairs, and additional work on our home. The problems included redoing the entire home's interior flooring and painting, correcting excavation, drainage, and landscaping issues that required 26 tri-axle loads of dirt, redoing tile shower work, rebuilding portions of the deck and stairs, redoing the porch pillars, fixing falling gutters, and repairing a hole in the roof. And this is only a partial list of the issues we had to address. As if correcting this much work weren't enough, we also had to pay to finish work that had not been completed, despite being included in the agreed-upon floor plan. We were left spending additional time and money correcting problems and completing work that we reasonably expected to be handled as part of the original construction agreement. That is an unacceptable position to put a homeowner in after paying to have a home built. The lack of professionalism was just as troubling. We found an employee sleeping inside our house, discovered cases of beer bottles around the property, and encountered cigarette smoking inside the house. These were serious concerns involving the basic standards of professionalism, supervision, and respect for someone else's property. This was not the level of care or conduct we expected from a builder entrusted with our home. The situation ultimately led to an approximately 18-month legal dispute. Instead of being able to enjoy our home with confidence, we spent an enormous amount of time, money, and energy dealing with construction problems, unfinished work, and the resulting dispute. The financial burden and stress of this experience have been substantial. What makes this experience particularly frustrating is the sheer volume of work we had to address after the fact. This was not one isolated defect or a minor disagreement over cosmetic details. It was a long list of significant problems, additional work, and concerns about professionalism that collectively turned what should have been a positive experience into an expensive and exhausting ordeal. We would not hire this builder again, and we cannot recommend him to anyone considering building a home.
