Their work is of excellent standard, prices are excellent, and they go through every detail with you. I recently left my car in for a full service, got it back that afternoon, and the mechanic was so helpful and informative. The fact that it's so close to town is an added bonus as I was able to walk into town after I left the car in. The road is narrow and parking can be tight, but I had no issues, and even collecting my car the mechanic drove my car out for me to make sure I got out ok, just that little extra touch! The crunch sounded really nasty and I was left with a grating and scraping sound while driving. Down to Dorset Expert Garage the next morning and inside of 15 minutes they had the wheel off, diagnosed and fixed the problem, and wheel back on ready to hit the road. What was them even more outstanding was that they would accept no payment for their expert work (which I highly valued).

Let me introduce you to Stephen, who was recommended to me by a friend who used him for his commercial fleet. Too bad I got to use Atlas in Finglas first (see that review...quite an epic story) but at least Stephen's trustworthiness and professionalism was tested then because he advised me to go back to Atlas to get my exhaust fixed as it should be, he ended up doing it himself as the 2nd fix I had from Atlas wouldn't have lasted 6 months, and he offered even to go there himself, seeing they were so bad with me. The great thing about Stephen is that he will offer you the service you want : on the cheap, if there is a cheaper option like swapping parts or getting a decent 2nd hand or doing the most urgent things first and get the rest later, he ll be a very good advisor of this, and if you want, like me, to be told that there might be something dodgy here and there that he d like to have a look because I wouldn't notice stuff before its too late, he can do that too. Long working hours yet never short of a nice talk with you. The only nasty thing about his garage are the 3 mean ramps, do not attempt to go on them beyond 10km/h lol. Very highly recommended, someone who cares about your car, your safety and a 50/50 win.

For instance, he would bring your wheel or tyre to a near by shop and get it fix there for you. There's a little risk of leaving your car for some time, as garage has only very little parking space, so they might leave your car on the residents' driveway. But to be honest, never had trouble on this matter. I would recommend this place only for people, who live near by and can't bring their car further away to better garage.

The owner of the shop and main mechanic told me to pay him 200 euros for a permanent fix . I was confused as my mate had his fixed for 30 euros. He said I could do a temporary fix for 30 euros but the job wouldn't be worth his time. I negotiated and paid him 150 , when i came to pick up my car the power steering wouldn't activate . He shrugged and told me it wasn't his fault and he didn't know why it wasn't working . He analyzed the fault and told me he could buy a new power steering for me for 1000 euros . ( This really happened ) I gave up and took the car to another mechanic, they fixed the power steering in 15 mins literally and charged me 30 euros. 2 months later today (01/06.2017) my windshield wiper stopped working ( So much for a permanent fix). I called Dudley and he got so defensive about the wiper. He hadn't even examined the car he just kept saying it wasnt his fault. Needless to say i wont bother going back. worst mechanic I've dealt with in my life . I have proof of this by the way, i took a video of the power steering issue . regards

Tried to bargain, but he wouldn't accept lower payment. At the end was happy with the price and job that was done properly. I bit of a small language barrier there, but, I suppose, it's quite common now in Dublin. Had to come here, because John Collier Tyres Closed down.
